You said Pakistan is a partner to US in fighting terror and India cannot touch Pakistan if it wants to target terror emanating from Pakistan. I am saying it might not be the case. I did not do a false info. mumbo jumbo you are saying.
Yes because if US wishes to strike pakistan it will need airspace access of pakistan. All this tough talk is to coerce pakistan into giving them space to carry on ops in Afghanistan.

India needs to keep US away so we can deal with pakistan on our terms. US is nothing but a spoilsport here.

In Panjshir province, Taliban have found a ballistic missile depot.

The Taliban got hold of the R-17 (8K14-1) missiles intended for the 9K72 Elbrus operational-tactical missile system, as well as the 9M21 unguided missiles and its modifications from the Luna-M missile system. Both missile systems were actively used by the Soviet army during the war in Afghanistan. P-17, for example, have been used for shelling more than two thousand times. However, the Taliban will not be able to use the found weapons - the missiles have no warhead.

Pakistani concerns do not come into the calculations of India US strategic relationship. If India sees an opportunity India will work with USA.

Yea right lol. It is only US and US alone which has prevented India from punishing pakistan for their fuckery in order to secure their supply routes into afghanistan.

Now India has a golden opportunity in it's hand and should ask US to stay away.

Like said before our reference point should be news and updates. It is futile to make assumptions and vague analysis as of now.

India will calibrate its response following US lead. Our action against Pakistan will never have input back and forth of any third party. Like we say time and place of our choosing.

Our current cooperation with US will continue with the same pace backed by many agreements we have signed vis a vis Intel sharing and sharing of military logistics and networking in last 7 odd years. These agreements are not making us dependent but helping us have an access to western methods, technologies and standards which we can apply while moving towards self reliance. Members may have forgotten that the essence of many old debates here at DFI used to be our lack of exposure, independent over watch and networking especially to become a blue water navy.

While France was the only western source from where we got quite a good exposure but with hefty price. Our access into American MIC ecosystem has made us quite stable contrary to assertions made by many who saw going away from Russia ominous to our geopolitical and regional standing.

I can go into more details but the crux of matter is to not get carried away with Afghanistan and indulge too much into moral science nonsense.

Channels like Republic and many RW influencers are continuously getting worked up on issues which are hardly of any concern to us.

The rule of thumb is follow the money. Our trade with USA out weighs your every cynical obsession with Panjshir or whatever that walks and crawls in Afghanistan.

After few weeks of frenzy it is high time to settle down and smell the larger interest coffee.

Copium ? Or any truth to this ? Its entirely based on unsubstantiated tweets from random people and our own General Saheb Bakshi ji (who does know a thing or two). So perhaps the truth is somewhere in between ? Any of our usual sources in DFI like @Hellfire @Mikesingh etc.. could possibly throw some light on this. My own guess is perhaps we did strike from our base in Tajikisthan.

Take a lot of salt please......

No action undertaken by any Indian asset directly. I shudder at the attempts of some people to allocate a far greater role to India for happenings in Afghanistan-Baluchistan than actual.

We have not been able to optimally use base at Tajikistan to further our security interests thanks to Russia scuttling the effort ... does one think Russia would allow India to do anything directly? Take an action that has impact on Tajikistan security - a region that Russia considers it's backyard & exclusive domain?

US withdrawal is a joke. Right words will be US defeat in Afghanistan. We don’t know much, it may be US arranged and quietly negotiated withdrawal which turned into a defeat for everybody to watch on prime time TV. It would appear that US ex servicemen under grab of advisors began leaving their posts two months prior until none was left. Taliban in Doha office had negotiated that kind of deal with bad US negotiators, who thought that advisors leaving Kabul will not result in a defeat. But for Taliban and Pakistan, they could not settle for anything less than a US defeat.

Now US and Biden prestige is at the lowest. It cannot go lower, hence to salvage its prestige US is arranging for in person QUAD leaders conference. It is a bad time to have it. Moreover US leadership quality is very much in doubt, none of the leaders will indulge in a serious dialogue but a dialogue for US media to talk something else except talk about Kabul and retreat from there.

Either this QUAD meeting will be inconclusive with no understanding at all or other three nations will extract major concessions from US.

Before I forget, a big punishment for Afghan fiasco to Pakistan is overdue. It should be administered with full knowledge of Pakistan leaders that double talk ultimately leads to punishment.

Fake video it seems. He would have tweeted it in his own account.
Saleh's family member tells Aamaj News: The video has not been released yet, following the release of a video of Amrullah Saleh crying, which a number of media outlets and reporters had linked to the killing of Mr. Saleh's brother by the Taliban, a family member told Aamaj news that the video was shot two years ago
