Baloch separatist leader and head of the Balochistan Liberation Army Nawabzada Hyrbyair Marri is present in New Delhi, India confirmed on Thursday.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vikas Swarup confirming Marri’s presence in India, said, “India has always been home to the persecuted people from all over the world.”

Indian newspaper, The Hindu, had reported that New Delhi-based Balaach Pardili, a representative of the Hyrbyair Marri-led Baloch Liberation Front/Free Balochistan Movement, has begun campaigning for the freedom of Balochistan from Pakistan.

Marri who has been living in London confirmed to The Hindu that Pardili has been assigned the task of representing him in public events in India.

“We deserve India’s support as India is the largest democracy and we believe India must shoulder the responsibility of upholding the tradition of democracy and human rights in the South Asian region,” Marri said.

Pardili, who made a public appearance on October 4 under the banner of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena (BSKS), told the newspaper that he is ready to campaign under the banner of BSKS for separation of Balochistan from Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan said the presence of Pardili in Delhi proves India is fomenting trouble in Balochistan.

According to the report, a Pakistani diplomatic source said that in response, Pakistan might take up issues in India’s northeastern region.

Further, in July this year, the Balochistan government stepped up informal efforts to reach out to an estranged Baloch leader living in self-exile. A delegation comprising two influential tribal chieftains met’ with Khan of Kalat Prince Agha Mir Suleman Dawood. Prince Suleman, the 35th leader of the defunct Kalat royal family and the grandson of Beglar Begi Mir Ahmed Yar Khan, has been living in self-exile in London since the killing of Jamhoori Wattan Party chief Nawab Akbar Bugti in a military operation in 2006.

Balochistan has been wrecked by a bloody insurgency since 2004, which became bloodier since the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti in 2006. Baloch leaders living in self-exile, Hyrbyair Marri and Brahamdagh Bugti, have been blamed for fueling the insurgency from abroad.

However, last month self-exiled Baloch Republican Army (BRA) leader Brahumdagh Bugti agreed to hold talks with the government on the Balochistan issue, hinting at the possibility of withdrawing demands of separation — provided that was what the people in the province wanted.

In August this year, the government decided to approach five countries and the United Nations to seek extradition of top Baloch insurgents accused of fomenting unrest in Balochistan which has been in the throes of a low-profile separatist insurgency since 2006.

“We are taking up the issue of Baloch insurgents with five countries (India, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Iran and Afghanistan),” said a top security official, who did not want to be named. Dr Allah Nazar, Hyrbyair Marri, Brahumdagh Bugti, Javed Mengal
and some other wanted insurgents are commanding their fighters in the province, he added.

Hyrbyair, the head of the BLA, has been living in self-exile in the United Kingdom, where he has been granted political asylum. The BLA has been responsible for most violence in Balochistan.

During the 70th United Nations General Assembly meeting earlier this month, Pakistan handed over three dossiers to the UN secretary general, cataloguing what officials in Islamabad say is ‘irrefutable’ evidence of India’s involvement in fomenting terrorism and instability in their country.

The dossiers included details of Indian interference and support for terrorism in Balochistan and Karachi, as well as its security and intelligence agencies’ link with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), revealed Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN Bilal Ahmad.

As you stated in the article, BLA is separatist group. So, terrorist and separatist groups has large difference. If paki official can meet kashmiri separatist group leaders, why can't we meet BLA leaders.

You do not want to see the ground realities ... nor you did in East Pakistan nor in Baluchistan nowadays...

You need to reeducate yourself. Look into Doval's recent statements about Balochistan.

So what's wrong with if India is hosting Baloch freedom fighters?

India as a sovreign nation has the right to give anyone it's residency. If someone is a balcohi than what can India do? Remember even so-called anti-India Kashmiri activists reside in India voicing their opinion again their own country. India doesn't stop them so why should we stop Balochis.

On a strategic basis, India should continue extending support to Baloch FREEDOM FIGHTERS because Pakistan had a long run poking their nose into India's internal affairs. Just like the Pakis supported Khalistanis.
India shouldn't play by the rules. India should take preemptive measures and give pakis a taste of their own medicine with it's superior resources.

lol madarassa educated,
india helped mukti bahini and it actually stopped that country from being another paki country,
it became bangladeshi country but atleast its not remained paki country as pawn of china with china made nuclear weapons,

another thing is mukti bahini does not exists today,it did not became another terrorist group like taliban which is started by pakis under the name of defeating russians and later itself became a terrorist group which turned whole country to terrorist country.

Speaking of terrorists, what's this year's allocation of Pakistani Punjab govt's budget to Hafiz Saeed's
Jamaat-ud-Dawah.

It was 6.1 crores in 2013.

Pakistan's Punjab Government allocates funds for JuD centre

http://www.thehindu.com/news/intern...cates-funds-for-jud-centre/article4826052.ece

Updated: June 18, 2013 20:34 IST

The Jamaat-ud-Dawah is a front of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba that carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks

Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the parent body of banned terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba that carried out the 2008 Mumbai attacks, has been allocated more than Rs. 6.1 crore in the budget for the current fiscal by Pakistan’s Punjab Province Government headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s PML-N.

Besides the grant-in-aid of more than Rs. 6.1 crore in its budget for fiscal 2013-14 for ‘Markaz-e-Taiba’, the largest centre of the JuD, the provincial government has allocated Rs. 35 crore for setting up a “Knowledge Park” at the centre and other development initiatives.

Details of the allocations were presented in budget documents tabled in the Punjab Assembly on Monday by the PML-N Government led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

One document stated: “Grant-in-aid to chief administrator Muridkey Markaz (is) Rs 61.35 million.“

The JuD’s centre is located at Muridkay on the outskirts of Lahore.

In his budget speech in the assembly, Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman announced that the provincial government “intends to establish a Knowledge Park in Muridkey“.

He said the government had allocated Rs 35 crore for the park and several other initiatives in Punjab.

Shortly after the UN Security Council designated the JuD a front for the LeT in the wake of the Mumbai attacks, the Punjab government took over the centre in Muridkey.

At that time too, Punjab was ruled by the PML-N. Since then, the government has allocated money in its annual budget for the administration of the centre in Muridkey.

In 2009-10, the government provided more than Rs. 8.2 crore for the administration of JuD facilities.

In fiscal 2010-11, Chief Minister Sharif, using his discretionary powers, allocated two separate grants for JuD facilities.

The government granted Rs 7.98 crore for six organisations at Markaz-e-Taiba and a special grant-in-aid of Rs 30 lakhs for the JuD’s Al-Dawa School System in several districts of Punjab.

Officials have said in the past that the allocations were needed to continue “welfare services” provided by the JuD’s schools, dispensaries and hospitals across the province of 90 million people.

In the past, the Punjab Government defended its decision of allocating money to the JuD by saying the grants had been awarded for the administrator of the Markaz-e-Taiba.

There is no formal ban on the JuD and its chief, Hafiz Saeed, lives freely in Lahore despite a 10 million dollar bounty offered for him by the United States.

If Pakistan folds its tails and stop threatening India over Kashmir why is Balochistan even going to be on the news ?
