Friend you fail to understand India's situation. There was hardly a job market in India even during the best days of our economy(that's why India's growth is often termed as jobless growth).Whatever little employment generated since liberalization of the early 90's is now getting eroded.
There are hardly any jobs both in skilled as well as unskilled sectors, the later is extremely dangerous as it could potentially create widespread social unrest and perhaps threaten India's political integrity.

If we look at the past 6 years, then one can easily deduce that" make in India" is simply not working, atleast has not lived upto expectations.

As far as moving abroad is concerned, for many in the middle class and upper middle class is simply not a choice but a compulsion. There is nothing left to do in India other than gazing at the night sky.Take for example my neighbor's son whose only crime was studying mechanical engineering from a private college.Unable to secure a job forced him to sit for GRE and move to Germany and settle there happily.
take this conversation to economy thread...

India should use this opportunity to test new types of warheads. Chinese and Russians were not following INF treaty they were conducting underground nuclear tests. And Americans were stuck with the treaty.
Now Americans will also build new types of nuclear warheads and hypersonic developments.
India should fully utilize this crisis.

Please watch from 41:20, Abhijeet is talking about that post.
He is referring to the entire area as Gogra complex but Gogra complex has two separate positions known as hot springs and Gogra. Both are on the sides of Changchenmo river valley that opens into Shyok River.

PP numbers start from North and start increasing towards south. So I have marked PP15 and PP17A correctly ... call those whatever you like..
Here is a Map of important places round the area.

It’s actually interesting that you mention the Rashtrakutas. There is something very interesting to be learnt from the way Govinda III, one of the greatest of the Rashtrakutas emperors, especially militarily, dealt with an imminent threat. The Gurjara Pratihara King Nagabhatta was militarily asserting himself in N.India. He defeated Dharmapala of the Pala Kingdom of the east and began defeating other smaller rulers and consolidating himself. Rashtrakuta Emperor Govinda III saw him as an imminent threat, not least because Naghabhatta’s father Vatsaraja had once been defeated by Govinda’s father Dhruva Dharavarsha. He did two things, first he sent his brother Indra to keep an eye on the passes of the Vindhyas to prevent being taken by surprise in case Nagabhatta attacked while he was preparing for war. Second, he pacified the smaller kingdoms of the south (what we can see as internal troublemakers in present context) before finally taking his army up North (handing the control of the kingdom to his brother Indra) where he met the ascendant Gurjara Pratihara King Nagabhatta head on some 80 km from Bhopal. It took the Rashtrakuta army less than half a day to completely crush the Gurjara Pratihara army and Nagabhatta had to flee the battlefield. Dharmapala who had already tasted defeat from Nagabhatta and probably remembering his earlier walloping at the hands of Govinda’s father promptly sent his tributes. Govinda III would stay in N.India for a short period of time going further up North before finally coming back down South where the rulers who he had pacified were getting brave in his absence. After soundly walloping the whole lot of them and dealing with them harshly ( some so harshly that the king of Ceylon promptly sent him tributes in case he turned his attention even further south), he would rule as the militarily unmatched emperor in India for the rest of his life.

Draw a connection to what happened when the Chinese came to the border, internal saboteurs kept running and remain running amok. Unless we deal with them, taking lessons from history, we will always have to keep one eye on the shenanigans of the opportunists within even when we are dealing with an national emergency. Also important to prepare the grounds and strike at the time of our choosing while keeping an eye on the enemy for any sudden surprises. Govinda III might have lived 1200 years ago but some military tactics remain as sound today as they were then.
Thank you Indrajit I had read and heard of the heroic Tale of the Great Govinda III and his campaign in Kannauj and the war against the Eastern Chalukyas. And yes we need to keep watch full eyes within also. And would also like to add a brief story of the Great Ontisalaga Madakari Nayaka who was betrayed by the Martha's against the Hyder Ali . I respect the Great Martha's for their Valor and the idea of Swarjya. But what the conclusion I want to draw is that we need to also keep our eyes open outside.

I guess Iran is signatory to BRI so ultimately Chabahar will be open to chinese goods as well & may link with Gwadar in future. It's more like a Indian attempt to sell their goods in Afghanistan & Central Asia & we will be able to do that regardless. If road side stall can do the job why need a supermarket & restaurants :daru: :troll:
It seems India pulled out of Chabahar.

Iran is now firmly in China camp. Iran is totally burned by US sanctions.

Events are moving with a breathtaking speed now.

It would be a ridiculous situation if we find out a few decades later that this whole nonsense was created, to do with something CCP wanted to do in Hongkong .
Who knows if they spread Covid-19 also for the same purpose 🤔. This reminds me Chennai vs China movie.😁

How does this benefit them in Hongkong?

This was a bad idea to deal with these backstabbing iranians. Now Chinese
have access to persian gulf/arabian sea from 2 countries.

well CCP just passed a law in HK, which gives them complete control over internal security apparatus. they can legally prosecute dissenters without kidnapping them from HK.

in effect HK is as good as gone.

if we go a few years back, major friction between CCP & rest of the world started with that HK yellow umbrella movement and kidnapping of one writer who was later put on trial in China. everything escalated from there on.

We really require YUD MANTRI (YM) than RM

It seams that neither the military is given proper resources, infrastructure and freedom nor our RM is proactive

Same case in all departments
This 12 years of mms sarkar has really put Bharat in far backward position in all terms
Well the BJP hasn’t done great on the defence front either. They started off playing musical chairs with DMs. There wasn’t a proper DM for ages and then when one settled in another was brought in which started the whole cycle again. On top of it the defence budget which was expected to be increased under the NDA was in fact reduced in terms of percentage of GDP. All the hype about make in India hasn’t brought about any tangible results on ground. Private industry hasn’t been encouraged as much as it should. Orders still go to the same old defence PSUs. Where is the incentive for Private sector to get innovative when a single sale can drag on for years. People praise the NDA for border infrastructure forgetting that the infrastructure was sanctioned by the previous govt. The initial 72 roads sanctioned have still not been completed in spite of 6 years of the NDA which shows it’s not just about this or that govt but the reality of the harsh terrain which delays these projects,

I do agree that the NDA has pushed some procurements like artillery but this is not enough. A lot more could have been done to plug critical gaps that were left by the mentioned previous govt. A critical requirement like the P75 I hasn’t even reached the RFP stage in 6 years.

People try to paint the previous govt as useless and the current govt as the saviour. This is not about the UPA or then NDA . This is about India. The people of the country kicked out the previous govt for non performance. What is laughable is that the current govt has been shirking it’s responsibilities by blaming previous govts for anything and everything. If you can’t do much much better than the previous govt then what is the use of you even being in power?

I have said this before and I will say this again. For India to be a great power India needs a strong economy which currently is in a total mess. Fix it first . Chest thumping is ok for elections. But the Govt needs to get its head down and work for the betterment of the country. Right now whatever the govt does seems to be just to win elections and nothing more.
