Why would anyone even watch that nutbox they call a news channel.

It started as good counter narrative to NDTV but it seems they lost the plot with the shouting. In any case no Indian media is credible with regards to defence reporting. The background music and comments makes it unwatchable.

Our good old Prithvi missiles can also carry cluster munitions and fragmentation warheads.

Prithvi - 1 can carry a 1 ton warhead out to 150 km.

I believe Pinaka can also deliver cluster munitions. Not confirmed though but should be doable as it is our baby.

From what I remember of Sikkim and especially the military areas, they had zero red roofs. IA structures had either a flat green or green-brown camo sheet roofing.

The only red roofs apart from civilian structures belonged to the Indo-China border gate/immigration point in Nathu La.

Nah same difficulties which China faces now we will face the same difficulty while launching any offensive into Tibet, that is logistics. Currently we are looking to give Chinese a bloody nose & best case scenario recapture of Aksai Chin. Liberation of Tibet will require massive military & hardware support of US that will create a world war type scenario which ain't happening. Tibetans themselves need to stop pacifist approach & start being aggressive otherwise there is no hope for them.

Unless China is defeated in its heartland - that is in the east; there is no chance to free Tibet. Because any forces sent from Indian side will meet heavy Chinese resistance coming from central China.

Even freeing up Aksai Chin does not seem viable in terms of cost. I think eventually Chinese will just leave these areas as these are hard to defend - for India as well as China. If China faces a shortage of resources, it will just abandon these areas.

That's not how war works. You cut supply lines and no one can come from Central china. Tibet is 2000km away from Central china.

To free aksai chin only two or three critical Chinese highway need to be cut. It's very possible.

Recent sat pics clear those are not Indian tents as river bends behind and there is no connecting bridge to Indian side!!!
