This is not about road . They had road since 1999 there . But no other permanent structures . Now they are building permanent structures while stopping us from crossing f4 . They are still firmly east of f4 which is acting lac.

But we can't allow their permanent structures between f4 to f8 . So war it will be .

I really didn't understand what you wanted to tell about f16 down and Chinese demolition. Why the f16 down incident will make US angry enough to demolish Chinese?

It was decided ages ago. Look at my Avatar Picture. Wrapping Chinese aggression with anti government comments is unwarranted because from day 1 India has been engaging with China. Till few weeks ago Indians were patrolling up to F-8 and Chinese up to F-2. Isn’t it fait accompli for China that they won’t be able to claim land up to F-2.

That Panag pagal never came out to warn India but started with making India look aggressor and blamed us for developing infrastructure. He is the same person who used to rant about poor infrastructure and logistical support. No one should let him now hide behind his shoddy concerns and so called warnings which were mere incedental but his primary focus was dog whistleing, giving strength and tips to Chinese propagandists, rant against government’s move on article 370 and defend Chinese actions. He enjoyed this attention from both Chinese and Pakistanis.

I think our major focus was on Pangong Tso lake while Galwan valley was always going to be the flashpoint. That is why they are claiming entire Galwan valley now & I am sure Chinese officers must have talked about it in the meetings. That 2.5 km back tracking was backstabbing by the enemy. Nothing short of a war will stop this. This hide n seek game has to end.

At some level, India is not getting its real issues and concerns out in the relevant corridors. Part of it is traditionally, India didn't want to sound politically incorrect or say things that could be construed as "anti-secular and anti-plural"

The worst and most asinine idea - to buy more older generation planes when we are inducting latest Rafales and Tejas.

All of the following options are superior to this.

1. Order 30 used Armée de l'Air Rafales - all could be fitted with India Specific Enhancements that have already been developed and integrated. These could be delivered very quickly maybe by 2021 end.

2. Exercise option for 36 more new Rafales - Dassault can build 3 a month no problem. It will take Dassault until 2024/25 to deliver all 72.

3. Initially lease 30 French Rafales without upgrade - while Dassault delivers the new ones. We can get the aircraft immediately. We did this with the first 2 SEPECAT Jaguar sqdns. This way we could have 2 more Rafale sqds operational in 1 year.

4. Order another 30 Tejas Mk1A to be delivered without affecting delivery of existing 83. I feel HAL should be able to do it since they have mastered production.

I agree with your idea but I also agree with more su30 as at a time of war we can't stop domestic production of su30 . Also mig29 with upgrade are coming really really cheap for their potential.

You got confused and linking two incidents. If US were so pro India then why didn't they confirm F16 downing!! Why they shut their mouths and didn't utter anything! Because their business interests were harmed also same Russia will do now they won't speak up!

They already Know what Pakistan is upto! They don't need reminding. They won't act against Pakistan as they are dependent on Pakistan to supply their forced in Afghanistan.

Just like we supported Russian in cremia and Ukraine despite knowing exactly that Russian basically took these areas.
