New Delhi [India], June 18 (ANI): Amid the ongoing row with China in Eastern Ladakh, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has pushed a proposal to the government for acquiring 33 new fighter aircraft, including 21 MiG-29s and 12 Su-30MKIs from Russia.

Correct news and old at the same time. They were planning to buy the aircrafts in August 2019. Note "planning". Now given the tensions with Chini, the "planning" is now under "approval" process.

In short: We'll get new aircrafts later this month hopefully.
