Why are you so much against CAS or use of airforce. There are plain looking valleys in Ladakh like Depsang, Spangur, Demchok and depth ares in Tibet once you cross Karakash ranges. Do remain stuck up with Galwan or Hot springs.

Have you forgotten the splendid role IAF played in Kargil. I only wish IAF / IA had 40 more Apaches... I am in mood of using even the navel air assets and fix wing assets like Pilatus and dorniers to fill Galwan valley with the shit..
How about warthog or su 25's

Rogue nation has a habit of miscalculations. One pakistani general had planned morning breakfast in Jodhpur, lunch in Jesalmer and dinner in Delhi but their battalion got wiped out in 24 hours. The problem with idiots like Chines and Pakistanis is that they fail to calculate response. That is why they are f***ed up nations curse on humanity.
There is some dichotomy in the statement...
If you plan to have breakfast in Jodhur why would you go 250 km back to Jaisalmer for lunch ?? The general should have planned lunch in Udaipur... what a place to have a lunch at Lake Palace..:pound:

Frogfoot and warthog are ideal for CAS and should be with Army Aviation Corps..
But again the air force will come in again and demand it as it's a combat aircraft's IA should go for the LCH's in large numbers literally in hundread's

I read a post of @Hari Sud & he has spoken the truth it is indeed that America has realized now that they were only feeding a snake. But the US dominance in SCS in not for forever. That's why US and other countries are calling for alliances.

NATO was formed to stop USSR invasion basically to Europe (land based). Now we have to form an alliance to stop Chinese aggression which is sea based.

And many here will also talk about that then why not talk about an alliance in land too. As, Chinkis are capturing our land. To those I will say that its unnecessary because once our forces became modern enough. They will be form a wall which will be impossible for anyone to breach. Even the Chinkis knows it well. That's why they are doing all the poking now. First in Doklam and now in Ladakh. They want to disrupt our economic and military progress. Because we are at a point of threshold now.

Hmmmm.... :hmm:

Since majority of the LAC border areas consists of snow covered mountains and hilly areas, now is the best time for the Indian army to capture strategic positions covertly, push the chinese back and gain as much territory as possible. There will be snowfall in winter season.

Operation Meghdoot

Operation Badr (1999)

Here I think we could go for a operation similar to operation badar in 1973 war where EAF moved slowly over Sinai Peninsula but fully prepared with tanks RT supports and atgm's and missile's but this will be carried on high terrain like ladakh's so have a large operation not like cheap spin off's of the pakis but the original operations on a large scale like the EAF's

Both have different role. What fixed wing can do can not be done by a helicopter..
Where is the damn LCA ... those guys are only photomasters..
I think all OFB, DPSU and DRDO must be banned from carrying out photo ops.. and sponsoring all media ops..

If IAF wants fo conduct and win only the air battle, the Army has no choice but to go for its own aviation assets for CAS.

That why we could develop a simple variant's of tejas for CAS missions with heavier armour for the cockpit like titanium and nickel steel's it has high angle of attack's correct me if I am wrong's

A pivotal equipment advantage for the Israeli Air Force was the F-4 Phantom II, a third generation fighter/bomber. By the outbreak of the war in October 1973, the IDF had 122 F-4E and 6 RF-4Es (R denotes the reconnaissance variant) in service.

To compensate for the weaknesses of Egyptian air power, the Egyptians developed their air defenses. They fielded immobile SA-2 and SA-3 SAMs, the backbone of the air defenses, as well as mobile SA-6 SAMs and ZSU-23-4 SPAAGs (Self Propelled Anti-Air Gun), portable infantry SA-7s, in addition to thousands of conventional anti-air artillery.

These air defenses would provide a protective "umbrella" over Egyptian ground forces. However, the SA-2 and SA-3 systems, being immobile, could only be moved over a nine-hour period at best, exposing the air defenses to degradation in case of a redeployment to keep up with advancing forces.

They had hit accuracy of 1.8 for every IAF's aircraft's so imagine current's scenario the accuracy of current missile's

Operation Meghdoot

Operation Badr (1999)

Before the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan began, there was only one brigade of the Indian Army, comprising three units with about 2,500 soldiers, guarding 300 km of Indian territory, along the Line of Control (LoC) between Zojila and Leh. It meant that one unit was responsible for close to 100 km of territory, a task which was next to impossible. These sectors are the crucial backbone for the logistics requirements of the army from Zojila to the world’s highest army deployment, Siachen. More units were required, but the need was not felt then.

Indian posts along the LoC at the mountain peaks were vacated before winter. The Pakistanis did likewise on their side of the Line of Control (LoC).

The Pakistan Army took advantage of these shortcomings, especially the lack of Indian troops during winters, and intruded into Mushkoh, Dras, Kargil, Batalik and Turtuk sub-sectors, between Zojila and Leh. They crossed the LoC and intruded 4-10 km into Indian territory and occupied 130 winter-vacated Indian posts. Pakistan wanted to cut off the highway connecting Srinagar with Leh, thereby cutting off Ladakh and Siachen –– a move India didn’t expect.

Nope. She was before that time.
I heard the previous govt wanted to create a Chair in her name gave her a post retirement job. Modi govt came and squashed all those plans. That’s the reason behind her negative commentary in the articles she writes from time to time. A cushy post retirement job got snatched from her
