They will keep getting emboldened and push the threshold further the more they are obliged by us with our tails between our legs and doing chai-biscoot after every provocation.
It is less about their capability but the fact that they know we will do nothing in response.

Meanwhile Genrols, babooze, DRDO worshippers of bob & vagene and politicucks all keep foot dragging over the MFRA program, Tejas delivery, replacement for BMP-2, WhAp/Kestrel large orders and god knows what else.I don't even know what is the status of the AK-203 manufacture in Amethi OFB  .

Eventually we will be forced to give them a response, but in a shooting war where is our MIC? Will Gobi have to go to foreign lands with a begging bowl for (((emergency procurements))) like Zalimsky of Hoholistan does today?

Every year that passes the gap between us and the ching chongs widens, economy and military also.
Every year the dhotis, trousers and pyjamas of our govt elites also shiver ever more intensely about the possibility of escalation with the 10 foot chinaman.
The last sentence sums up everything
Gap is widening and clock is ticking same thing I have written through my previous account and even through this account

‘Tawang, the birth place of current Dalai Lama and very likely the next Dalai Lama will come from there. Hence, Chinese wish to capture and eliminate that possibility.
Capturing Twang is now beyond Chinese capabilities. India has not only built strong defences but is capable of forcing the surrender of the invading Chinese force. Now the logistics have improved and would improve many fold with the Completion of SELA Tunnels. …… Now Chinese dream of Twang capture is all over.

The biggest reason our security is going to be threatened is because our pace of science and engineering development is too slow especially in the north where people are not studying engineering and building advanced technology. Southern India will age out. Unless UP, Bihar youth massively get skilled in engineering/technology and qualify of skilled manufacturing jobs like robotics, semiconductors etc…we are not going to be able to compete with China. The biggest issue is if we don’t do it now, countries like japan who want to do advanced manufacturing in India are just going to automate manufacturing as they are going to get tired of waiting for the youth in North India to get skilled and increase their PCI.
Also backward youth are the biggest voters now and they will choose freebie governments, which will further destroy india[s ability to compete. We will become subservient to China.
The reality is China has a single minded focus on becoming a technology power and own the supply chains of the world. Until India starts developing similar advanced technologies and indian companies start capturing substantial international markets with advanced products made in India, the risks of us becoming limited to a regional player are huge. Plus we will get trapped in lower middle income status.
Military threats are actually secondary to technological power and security. If Indian companies were beating the shit out of Chinese products in international markets and supply chains get centered around India, China wouldn’t have dared to any of the crap they did.
‘PLI is a good start but our massive youth population in the northern states not getting skilled in advance technologies is a real threat in becoming a large economic power and therefore not being able to fund a military to keep pace with China.

What new tech has China developed or is developing apart from stealing tech from West through Industrial Espionage and mass producing the same through Reverse Engineering?

This issue has been acknowledged by Chinese media themselves.

Not now. But Enough to control supply chains. The problem is they seem to have money and trained millions of engineers in western countries and lured top overseas Chinese scientists through the thousand talents program. The CCP only cares about 1 thing now: technological superiority at all costs and through that control the world markets. They don’t care if half their peasants die from starvation. They want to innovate at all costs. They want to use overwhelming technology power to take over Taiwan and then make all their neighbors slaves to them through BRI style kachra. CCP=modern day Nazis who used the same technological superiority model and called themselves the super race.
If you want to take on the CCP, we need to have a far larger economy based on Indian companies holding global patents on some key technologies and monopolizing those markets. Without india supply chains should not work. All this requires quick skilling of crores of North Indian youth population to move into IT, tech development after a solid 2 year skills development course.
The CCP is relentless. They are throwing money like anything to get access to western tech and research exposure. They even got top Engineering colleges like UC Berkeley to open a campus in Shenzhen and teach advanced engineering. Meanwhile our policy to attract overseas universities has thoroughly failed. We are failing on the technology and engineering development areas. Even key CEOs in the west are saying that eventually China will end up developing top tech. Not good if we continue to ignore this.

J-10 is more resembling Israeli Lavi than anything else. The only divergence seen from Lavi to J10 is in spine and vertical - and thats because they had to accommodate bigger Russian Engine AL31 instead of American Engine PW1120 in Lavi

It is because:

In the 1980s, the US partnered with Israel to develop a new combat aircraft based on the General Dynamics F-16. But as costs rose, the US pulled out of the deal, leaving Israel’s “Lavi” fighter unfinished. Years later American officials discovered that Israel sold the Lavi’s development plans to China, granting them unprecedented access to technologies first developed for the F-16.

Get your history right.

My history is quite correct! All you stated the connection behind which Lavi and J-10, which is ofcourse I know thats why I stated Lavi - j10 resemblance. Its you who whose "history" is correct as per you, bought physical resmblance between F-16 and J-10. Kapisch?

The J-10 shared more than a striking visual resemblance with the F-16. The technology sourced through Israel allowed China to advance significantly over the 1960s era fighters they were fielding at the time. This would not be the last Chinese fighter to incorporate elements of the F-16, but it's the most direct.

Lavi itself was born out of US deep technical cooperation with Israel. US rumored to give assistance on various technologies like "Fly-by-wire technology, the latest electronic countermeasure pods and radar-warning receivers and their logarithms, graphite composite etc".

Of course US gave Israel tech on basis of the experience it gained on developing F-16. Even our Tejas original FCS was tested on F-16 variant F-16XL. F-16 was revolutionary fighter of the times. It inspired many new genre of LWF programmes of other countries

But J-10 design and tech was based on Lavi which itself incorporated technologies (which were quite novel at that time) for F-16. So J-10 got tech developed for F-16 indirectly via Lavi.

Always remember this sequence:

F-16 = Lavi =J10.

Now come back to the original topic of China stealing and copying tech from West and incorporating them in their inventories.

Thanks regurgitating same what I told in previous post and also for coming to understanding on J-10 and Lavi connection - which was original intention. <removed by mod as per member request>

Watch it full with attention.

I want to decipher something.
Insurgents groups are meant to be used and thrown or employed on specific strategic events.

Regarding Shanti Vahini's Chakmas. India has unable to provide citizenship to them or any permanent settlements. I have seen them in Arunachal Pradesh living in abject poverty. These Chakmas are all Buddhists and still stateless.

Same applies with Tibetians in India, GoI not providing ample opportunities to them. They are living in TR camps allover North and North Eastern India. SFF still draws maximum troops from this community.

Globally we can see what Unkil Sam did with the Kurds. First they propped them up and later left them to be decimated in the hands of Erdogan.

Playing Insurgent-Insurgent business is a risky bet, you don't know when it will come back and bite you.

He is bit wrong in few areas most importantly regarding establishment-22 infact that was a committee made to look into failures in 1962 wars and advice necessary changes
The output of 22 was RAW SFF SG and other few new institutions and changes
Infact if I am not wrong then both sff and so belong Vikas
It's not that establishment-22 was for SFF and made for insurgency in China
SFF mandate is different and that's a different point to discuss but certainly not insurgency
