looks like earlier report was hit peice by ITBP+civies on army

some nonsense in report :

“In addition to losing control of some 1000 sq km territory, we also vacated the Kailash Range in our own territory apparently because of a Chinese threat conveyed through politico-diplomatic channels. To top this, stopping all movement from DBO towards KK Pass is pure “cowardice” – crow-flight distance between DBO and KK Pass is 17 km, road distance being 18 km. If we had the political will, we should have not only refused to vacate Kailash Range but also occupied KK Pass telling China to vacate the 20-km deep intrusion at Y-Junction in Depsang, as well as withdraw from the Indian side of Demchok.”

goal :

*The Home Ministry may be thinking of creating villages / hamlets as close as possible to the grazing areas near the LAC and to have Police outposts there. For this there has to be a considerable raising of the strength of the UT Police. This also has its UT level political angle.

* To ensure further increase in the strength of the ITBP and to wrangle a greater role for them in LAC management.

* Through such reports, ensure as much independent Command and Control of the ITBP by the Home Ministry as possible and avoid placing them under Command of the Armed Forces.

Written by someone who has a very poor understanding of ground realities and Indo-China relations. Instead of focusing on a larger context, they isolate a small area and focus on localized situations completely ignoring historical context. Possibly maliciously intended to deride Army.

Not even worth countering.

Looks like the US General is timing the confrontation with Taiwan on an assumption of a Republican President returning to White House in 2024.
And quite stupid of him to telecast that to China. Now China will tell US to simply fuck off and supply Russia with all the materials Russia wants. If US is going to attack China, then what is the point of cooperating with US with regards to Russia?

Biden is a fucking clown.

Was not aware we stopped patrolling KK pass - honesty don't see much sense to it, AFAIK there was no stand-off there, this type of action will only create more grey zones.

‘’It is not truth, not one bit. It is Rahul Gandhi version of truth. Remember Rahul is opposition leader without merit hence as per custom, he has see red only.

Kailash Range was vacated without Chinese occupying it to force Chinese back at Pangong Lake. India did not loose anything rather gained by forcing Chinese back at Pangong Lake.

‘’Depsang plains has been patrolled by both sides since 1962 hence both sides lay claim to it. Now tanks face each other hence no patrolling is done by either side. No area has been lost or gained by the Chinese; rather a military stalemate has occurred. Two regiments of Indian tanks are in the Depsang Plains together with artillery. Chinese have similar units Opposite to that. Both have occupied military vantage point with unhappy standoff and a no man’s land. Only Rahul Gandhi can conclude a loss of area of 1000 sq.km. He has to change his military cartographers to get a better advice.

Chinese have vacated Gogra and Hot Springs.

Upon completion (end of this year), we can insert division-sized formation including whole armoured brigades in Ladakh from plains (Punjab/UP) within 2 days. This is faster than the speed China can push troops from mainland China.
Hmm Chenab bridge is completed but it is one component in the whole section which will not be completed this year.
it is upto Baramulla though in future extension will be done upto Leh.one work is going on other line from Himachal to Leh. Last I heard there were proposals to lay railway line upto Rajouri to but that has not get any traction yet.

Seems like China has been successful in placing a mole within our babudom who is ill-advising home and defense ministry. Handing over LAC to such an incompetent and under-armed agency like ITBP is an utter disaster in making.
Simply a hearsay or firm proof.
