Reached outskirts of Seoul apparently. That can't be good.

Seoul is actually pretty close to the border, outskirts of Seoul mean something like 20kms which is nothing in the aerial distance.

It's a prop plane. If they're intercepting attacks on their capital with those...something is wrong.

They are a cost-effective way of intercepting cheap drones. It is also possible the crash is completely unrelated to the drone incident, just bad reporting.

Maybe due to drone's low altitude flying also it's a cost cutting solution.

Yes, I agree. Thats why I said its a good idea only if they expect little to no resistance.... If they expect trouble, bad, baaaad idea. Will just get good pilots killed.

In SoKo vs NoKo, I think soko doesnt expect much trouble, given that noko is barely functional.

things have changed, chini are russi biggest energy customer now. and so far data hasn't come out on how reliant russi MIC is on chini MIC to replenish their military stockpile because of ukraine conflict.


the usual caveat, not saying this is the scenario, rather one of the possible scenarios.

If the situation changes where Russia will now side with CCP over India, you can expect to say goodbye to any friendliness towards Russia and India would probably move over to the US camp significantly and Russia would lose a valuable ally. Not a situation that Russia wants to see. Besides China needs Russia more than it thinks it does.

Its the best option to take out drones. Low per hour flying cost, slow loitering speeds and a gun that can take out a drone in a single hit.

We should not get our 3rd aircraft carrier as 1st one is harbour queen because it is justifiable as some other aircraft carrier thousands of miles away is also a harbour queen with Chink navy breeding like rabbits?
