Air ingress has very small logistical footprints. One of our jet even flew over Islamabad and came back after deafening their skies with sonic boom.

In chess analogy the pawns move slow and the rook or bishop can move through and through.
When did flying over Islamabad happen ?

I think the equipment issue was sorted out during balakot itself. Abhinandan Engaged F 15 with Mig 21 suggests that IAF will Engage even if it's 1 vs 100 or 10 vs 100.
I seriously doubt that. If anything we got exposed at a time when we were supposed to be at our peak alert (day after Balakot). We had 24 PAF planes as targets and all we managed was to shoot down one while losing one on our side? However this does not take away anything from the Mig21 pilot who decided to engage an F16. Call it superior training or testosterone rush, but it definitely was not the equipment. Also why our most outdated plane was sent to engage PAF's most technologically advanced jets is something that I have never been able to comprehend.

And the biggest factor of all is that we were engaging PAF flown by duffers. PLAAF will be a different beast and they maybe a tougher nut to crack. If air battles were won just based on jazba junoon PAF would be #1 in the world :troll:

PAF might be actually better than PLAAF in training due to their training with Western counterparts. In one of the documents released, it was claimed that PLAAF pilots rely extensively on their AWACS team to guide them during combat and that dynamics is risky with long range missiles. Countries like India and Pak train heavily to fight even without AWACS support

I don't think anyone is "trigger happy", incursions do happen and are reported by the media too. I remember at least a couple of them, in Galwan they came all the way to the Syoke confluence in early 2020 (as per the interview of the general that was posted here a couple months back).
Although it would be interesting see the details of this incident (if it ever does come out).

Guys really? Does GPS on chinese phones means that it is comprised by china? Don't you know that army has a separate encrypted services? This MOU is for civilian use.

Qualcomm already has released chipsets which support now NAVIC along with other navigational services, please don't push unnecessary rumours.

For NAVIC to evolve you need wide acceptability, these brands have biggest market share so it's obvious that ISRO is making a practical choice which really doesn't affect any of our strategic needs in any way. It rather helps us.

It’s not the case that it is a non issue, whatever the OS oppo phones are using can easily send co-ordinates of individual phones to Chinese servers since all Chinese companies are an extension of CCP, they can use it against us.

but since wide adoption of NAVIC in mobile phones is a priority, might as well take care of adoption first and develop separate plans to manage the risks. not taking risks has it’s own downsides.

The training, combat experience, bravery, physical condition and drive/motivation of Indian AND Pakistani troops & fighter pilots very likely far outclasses that of Chinese combatants.
