Russia is a natural ally of India. A strong Russia will always be India's friend. Russia favoring China is simply a sign of Russian weakness. Russia's borders have been pushed back eastward by the US and now depends on China to stay afloat. Yet Russia is possibly the only country China has a legitimate territorial claim against. Eventually, Russian dependence on China will result in Russia losing its sphere of influence in Central Asia along with territorial losses in Siberia and Russia knows this. Thus Russia, unless weak enough to be forced by China, will never take an outright anti-India stand. Additionally, Russia will want a strong India to counterbalance China. In the long term Russia is a more reliable partner for India than the West. That being said, dependence on Russian arms must be reduced, but there should always be friendly cooperation.

The way we have deployed the forces in south Pangong TSO area hills overlooking Chinese forces, nearly increasing the number by Chinese will not convert into any strategic advantage. Infact, China has put more guys on the mercy of Indian forces.

A resolution about China salami slicing, and officially passing resolution to take back POK, AC and land till Johnson line. This will give Military sovereign's on the record approval of taking any action necessary to take back aforementioned land (now or in future).

This will also deter ant future govt to give land to china at the same time it will be acceptable paper in UN and other democratic institution.
