Thats on there side. Confrontation happened exactly on LAC. Our base is few km from LAC. And they also have a base few km from LAC . In between the distance is empty which they tried to occupy.
For some reason, I thought this is on the western side of the lake. Looks like a big target that will be taken out if needed....

Don't acknowledge POW in our custody & let China come out & say their soldiers are missing.
Start leaking their name one by one to harass & humiliate China.
Then how will the situation go back to status quo. We have already occupied as much no they have. Now we have 2 problems
1- what territory we have occupied it was always ours , but chinese are making new gains
2- finger areas heights if controlled by Chinese then they in next skirmishes they will come for f3,f2.

I think we all should be patient, just read earlier that someone on twitter said Capt. Thapa died in accident, so he either died in action or accident?

This was a violent clash near Chushul. Hand to hand fighting. No weapons fired & no casualties reported. #LadakhClash

Can somebody explain whether rules of engagement really changed on ground or it was a hogwash to calm down bad mood?

I am surprised no bullets fired this time too.

No way this is real lmao this has to he a parody account.

They surrendered once they saw our army at the other side. Lol what they could have returned to their camp.
No this has happened before. Chinese troops have crossed over and Indian troops encircled them and forced them back in their trucks with the men and weapons in separate vehicles. I remember reading a report on it from an Indian Army officer.

Accident.

We had some accident related fatalities near Galwan and Shyok too where some of our boys drowned.

IA loses more men in accidents, training, health related issues than in direct contact with the enemy.

The one's we lose to enemy action have their names etched in stone.

Yes this is why chinese did what they did. If army want to take back finger areas then they have to go through this route and cut f8 upto sirijap . They are trying to save there gains if both sides remain deployed.

I hope he died in action rather following Indian tradition of taking 5 to 10 with him, accident is just too pitiful for any soldier and their family.

I read that comment in twitter as soon as it was posted but didn't bothered to pos it here. I replied only to clear doubts and stop fear mongering.
