All unnecessary posts will be deleted. Please have a good meltdown for few more hours. Feelings held inside can cause depression. And all depressed people turn left.

DFI Lite stated few days ago that there was exchange of detained soldiers on both sides. @Sayarekd
Only statements doesn't work when enemy is playing dirty. We need to be bad guy, no more peace gesture.

bruh the 14-corps commander who over saw last talks is on twitter

my 1 liter of copium is "we are waiting quietly for right moment"

"kab khoon khaulega re tera phaijal Modi"

I don't really understand what this or rather any Indian government is trying to do w.r.t China. I mean, I'm no master of foreign policy, but we all know one simple thing in life - a bully won't stop bullying you unless you make him stop no matter how much you invite him to talk/beg/plead!

Sure. Without knowing why they are doing it simply take the bait and escalate to their likings?
Escalation??

releasing our side of the story just like the Chinese did is not escalation. We kept our part of the agreement if there was ever one and we did out utmost to abide by it.

Now when they have spilled the beans India can do what we call at LOC a tit for tat action.

We did our best to maintain the peace and now we have the right to explain our POV too.

There is no escalation just maintaining the status quo.

These information Warfare is going to cost us a lot. Some might think as a small matter but overtime it will grow big. It affects our credibility. It's like the same tactic used by those liberandus. Exploit our fault lines, hurt our democratic credential, do Randi Rona and make people go against the government. No wonder in both cases, government is not doing anything. It's beyond their bandwidth. They don't understand the threat they are facing and how this DIRECTLY affects them.

China on the other hand, puts a premium on information. They don't just censor or restrict them. They mould them. Turning black into white, white into black.
Not to mention the effect it has on the morale of common people. pehle jihadiyon ne confidence toda kuch sau saal, fir angrezon ne, ab jo thoda bahut wapas upar aya to lag raha china todega. Ordinary folks don't understand information warfare n sh*t.

It is written all over the sky why they are doing it. Talk failed when India demanded the solution its own terms. It might be possible that India has now captured the more buffer zone than China, so India is demanding the solution on its own terms.
When It didn't happen according to will of PLA, they came down on a low level to embarrass IA, to break the morale of people of India. So GOI can think again about its demands.

Except for Twitterverse/Echo chamber, Iam not noticing any blowback from Indian citizens.

Most of the Indians are enjoying the Festive Season.

If our morale breaks on these videos the probably our morale is very weak.
This is either a scaremongering or the invitation of climbing the escalation ladder
My bet is on second one . They are tempting India to do something so that they can take advantage of situation.
Chinese are itching for war it seems

People crying why meltdown here, and why we are so disappointed with pictures since we always knew the outcome?

Understand this, information warfare has been used to weaken the enemy since time immemorial. In fact in Mahabharata, the killing of Guru Dronacharya using fake news of his son's death was an excellent example of how information warfare can weaken and even change the tide of war.

Information warfare is a branch of warfare, similar to electronic attacks, cyber-attack, or terrorism. It is the responsibility of GoI & the military to control and counter information warfare.

So why so much meltdown? What can we learn from this and prepare better in the future?
  • The world is translating to a digital world. People are spending an average of 2 to 5 hours online, and hence our world has translated from physical to digital. It is only natural that we get hurt when something bad happens in our digital world.

  • If GoI released pictures/videos and kept 100% clarity from day zero of the clash, there would have been nothing to hide. Now that we have hidden and disclosed the majority of the information about Galwan clash, this raises the enemy to put a crack in our narrative by using these footages and images.

  • In the future, it will be imperative to keep the confidence of the population with occasional press conferences and information disclosure. Actively fight and respond to similar footage/image releases from enemy countries, including releasing counter-images, or calling them fake/fabricated as necessary.

I'm not saying that our morale is weak. Im just saying, enemy is playing dirty thinking it will break our morale. We should reply it with double force. If they release one video, we should release two videos to embarrass CCP. But we are so called 'Ganga-Jamuna" tahzeeb, won't do it.
War bhi krte hain to enemy ko puchh kar krege "Bhai hum maar de aaapko? "
