China has already collapsed. It is a dystopian country where people live with zero human rights. That, to me, is an utter collapse. A country that inoculates people with saline water and call is it a vaccine; a country where apartments are welded shut in the name of Wuhan virus control measures - that is a total collapse. A country that has to resort to untold amounts of fakery and deception to “show” economic growth - this is the symbol of a collapse. You just cannot come back from atrocities like Great Leap Backwards. At best you can become a modern day version of Nazi Germany. Their technology, even though impressive, did not save the day for them. The same fate awaits Xitler.
Look at the results of what the Completely Corrupt Party set to achieve and what they got:
- At the end of the day, China is yet to match the west in a single contemporary technology area, despite all sorts of claims. Sending people to the moon is something the west and Russians did in 1960s. HSR is a 1960s technology. China has just caught up to these things - that too after recruiting a bunch of Eastern Europeans post the collapse of the Soviet Union. 5G has fizzled out and there is no sign of any chip manufacturing as good as the west/Taiwan. China does not have a ship building industry as good as S. Korea or robotics industry as good as Japan’s.
- Not a single advanced product from China has penetrated the western markets/developed economies in Asia even.
- All issues created by the Chinese Concubine Party still linger - no decisive victories in SCS or Indian border or Senkaku etc.
- CCP’s allies are still failed nations -Pakistan, Iran, Nigeria, Cambodia, and now Afghanistan etc.
- Chopstick Chicken Party‘s Relationships with all healthy and progressive countries with great economies completely broken.

The only thing that seems to have done well in western markets is TikTok (well the Wuhan virus did well too) and the CCP thugs f&*^ed that up as well. All praise the wisdom of Xibaba and his 40 thieves - a curse on humanity similar to the Black Death that devastated the medieval world. Only this time it is Bat Death.
No sour grapes please
China's economic growth is unprecedented, surely they must be doing something right!!?

I dont know about malnutrition and other things , but one thing is sure that you don't know indias military history or even its modern recruitment procedure .
Its a shame that pla has conscription while it should not in world's largest country.
Regarding China’s military service system, we can discuss it in the evening. To be honest, the military establishment of the Indian Army confuses me. It’s too complicated.

Yeah by bloating the GDP growth by 1-2% every year for 10+ years and with massive bad debt financed infrastructure. All they have built is tons of crappy infrastructure and cheap scale manufacturing in very quick time. It is still debatable if this will get them out of the middle income trap (manufacturing profits are really low and the pay is among the lowest). They want to move up to high value manufacturing but they are simply not being successful. They are nowhere near the west in terms of technology creation or living standards - for all the shiny buildings and new downtown business districts, all their cities are rated at the same level as India’s in the Mercer quality of life index - clearly showing that buildings and roads are not what people are using to measure quality of life. Frankly, a devastated city like Detroit in the US has better living standards than the top Chinese cities. Just look at the rankings. Lol.

....The incident set off alarm bells within the US government and left Burns "fuming" with anger, one source explained. Some officials at the CIA viewed the chilling episode as a direct message to Burns that no one is safe, including those working directly for the nation's top spy, two sources said. ....

...The situation in India could have dramatic implications: the CIA director's schedule is tightly held and there are deep concerns among US officials about how the perpetrator would have known about the visit and been able to plan for such an aggression. ...

India has a malnutrition rate of 14%, ranking 94 out of 107 countries.
Dont shy away from talking about your country's Poverty...its very alarming!

China is still very Poor

The Chinese economy has accomplished a great many things, but solving poverty is not one of them. It looms behind every step Beijing takes, no matter what the World Bank or Xi say on the matter

Real estate sector is 30 % of china's gdp o_O .. Evergrande crisis going to be a disaster .. I am not conformed how much impact it ll have on india .
One thing to note is china's 20th party congress is in 2022 .. xiping ll loose his crown in case of a big market collapse . So it might have impact on LAC scenario ..

Now 40% of the soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army have a college degree,

Of course they would be, thats why they are called Conscripts! who join PLA for Two years than go back to their Jobs or Studies.

The PLA relies most heavily on conscripts due to the branch's size as well as the lower technical requirements. Combat units that rely heavily upon low-skill conscripts experience the most significant swings in combat power due to the conscription cycle, something that does not occur in professional armies. The time, effort and resources required to train conscripts each year is substantial drainage of power for the PLA.

The sub-standard conditions of a conscript have made the PLA an unfavourable option for young Chinese men. Most of China's conscripts come from socially backward and disadvantaged sections, who are in most cases, solely responsible for their ageing parents, due to China’s previous ‘One-Child Policy’.

Nothing major will happen media is overreacting like always just like they did with ILIFS crises in India or the real estate bubble in canada and US.

It was evident from last year that China was aiming for course correction followed by fiscal reforms in various sectors.

All those bank stress tests were being conducted for this reason only. They could have bailed them out or provided relief measures if they wished too. evergrande has a lot other branches in EV and many other sectors. CPP is forcing them to sell those assets and to pay back their loans.

Basically they are going for short term pain and long term gains. They will let the company fail and the course correction happen and once that is done they will bring in the fiscal reforms. CCP wants to show everyone in China that real estate is not the safest go to investment and is indirectly forcing them to invest in equities.

The crisis was never manufactured it was always present. From the last few years CPP brought in various measures to prevent the further expansion of real estate bubble. From stringent checks to increased down payment a slew of laws were passes. Most had minimal effect on ground as most chinese believe real estate to be the go to option to invest their savings on. Now they will be forced to invest elsewhere.

The plan was to bring in fiscal reforms to stabilize the markets and after trying everything they finally decided to go the hard way.

In the coming days you will see evergrande and many other companies go bust as they pay back their loans and halt further construction. There will be a slow down no doubt but the main goal of deflating the real estate bubble will be achieved.

Let’s discuss the military service system,
Everyone knows that the modern military service system is divided into a compulsory military system and a voluntary military system.
First of all, most countries threatened by serious war will adopt a conscript system, such as North Korea and South Korea, Israel,
The reason for using this method is that you can get enough people to join the army, and you can quickly get enough soldiers during the war. There was once a Korean star who did not perform military service. As a result, he had to kneel down and apologize to his fans, but he was not forgiven.
There are often a large number of dissatisfied troops in such countries, such as South Korea’s native divisions, which only have light weapons and old tanks, and only expand when a war breaks out.
These soldiers are also poorly trained. For example, the soldiers of the Taiwan Reserve Brigade usually only have three weeks of training.
Before 2012, China also had such unit, which we call the B division

Let’s talk about the voluntary military system,
Let’s take India as an example. First of all, in the reality that India’s higher education penetration rate is low, and the health of the country’s citizens is relatively low, India can obtain relatively good soldiers by adopting the voluntary military system.
The same long-term service can ensure that soldiers master combat skills proficiently.
But there are also bad aspects. The first fund, the cost of paying soldiers’ salaries and pensions in India accounted for 80% of its military expenditures, which resulted in India’s inability to update weapons and equipment on a large scale and conduct a large number of military exercises to maintain combat effectiveness.
Second, the physical fitness of soldiers who have served for a long time has declined. An officer who used to perform peacekeeping missions with the Indian army recalled that many soldiers in the Indian army are over 30 years old.
Third, long-term service will cause soldiers to be out of touch with society, and it is difficult to return to work after retirement.

Well, a lot of soldiers get recruited at 18 and even into the probation of elite units like SF. But guess who performed the cross-border operations in Myanmar or Pakistan? The 30+ guys- they are cold, matured, and experienced with the nuances of the battlefield. Military Operations are not some track and field sporting event where you send grilled-fish fed and six-pack abs dude to participate, you send level-headed men who know what they are doing. And don't lose their appetite at seeing the blood of their buddy. And its not just IA, a lot of operatives around the world are well in their 30s and get the job done pretty well. Also, they could beat the shit out of an 18-year-old gym chad in a fight.
