If that is true than we must have captured more so even after negotiations we are left with something. That shows even though PLA boast of quick deployment , IA operational capability and mountain warfare are far better. But considering that we are near to border in comparison to China , they still have edge in deployment and since now they are building more bases near to there border the only thing remaining for them to improve is how to haul PLA asses up the mountain fast after they get off the bus near border.
So we should improve our deployment , construction capabilities and Fortify the border while they catch us in other aspect.

There is a thing called operational deployment and feasibility to sustain after deployment but PLA doesn't know exactly how to do that effectively... They amassed troops on galwan river bed and the river washed them out eventually they had to move back...this shows how noob they're in military operations let alone mountain warfare in harsh weather conditions. IA played it's experience and psychological warfare made PLA suffer for their own deficiency...
Building up Infra and amassing large troops give early advantage only and later they will feal the heat of the move like now they ran away back in record speed
