Pakistan, China's espionage operations exposed through presence of Chinese spies in Afghanistan

The Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) recently uncovered a dense network of Chinese spies, highlighting activities of the CCP to influence the geopolitical dynamics through presence in the region.

On December 10, Afghan NDS launched a crackdown and arrested a Chinese intelligence operative Li Yangyang, who was operating in the country since July this year. Yangyang was arrested from his Kabul residence. The NDS also recovered arms, ammunition, and explosives, including Ketamine powder from his residence.

The Afghan NDS also arrested another Chinese spy, Sha Hung, on the same day from her Shirpur residence in Kabul. During the search operation, explosives and other highly objectionable material were recovered from Hung’s residence.

Further, seven more Chinese spies along with a Thai national were arrested by the NDS. All of the arrested individuals were operating as Chinese spies in Afghanistan.

It is believed that Pakistani agency ISI was acting as a mediator between Haqqani Network and the Chinese Intelligence agents.

China is also financing the Taliban through Pakistan to tackle the American influence.

Earlier, in late 1990s, Pakistan government had also helped China to eliminate Uighurs fleeing violence and taking refuge in Northwestern tribal areas of Pakistan. Pakistani government either deported the Uighur dissidents back to China or assassinated them.

You can thank McMahon for that . Read somewhere He drew with thick pen on small map and it has no basis with actual survey of area.
Are you aware that the Chinese recognized the McMahon Line with then Burma? But why not with India?

Actually, China settled its outstanding boundary issues with Burma in 1960, and in the Burmese sector of the McMahon Line, the settlement in physical terms is virtually an adoption of the same alignment, with some minor give and take. Burma ended up returning 132 sq miles of territory to China and China 85 sq miles to Burma. However, the important point is this: The boundary agreed upon is not the McMahon Line any more but a new line ratified by “The Burma-China Boundary Treaty of October 1, 1960.

A similar agreement without substantially changing the McMahon Line alignment like the Burma-China Boundary Treaty may prove to be a major step toward a resolution of India’s border issues with China.

I think only people who can really give that is the Chinese. :dude:

Forget about LAC even official border line shown in google maps and google earth are wrong.

It gives you the impression that its our official border line , one claimed by GOI (for example aksai china is shown as our) . but in several places its a mix of official border and LAC.

Best example is AP.

The border lines there in google maps dont match with official border line.

See this Chinese camp in upper siang

According to google its 8km outside India , but according to survey of india , its 5 km inside Indian .

IMHO this is dangerous , either show official lines or show LAC , mixing both is bad idea.

------------

only place that has "mostly correct" official border is here

but you have to fully zoom in and even then its wrong at some places.
Monigong sub sector shi yomi dist. Tada dege is the last Indian Village in this sector and last road head. Henkar is the last ITBP post few kms further from Tada Dege. In Arunachal we claim a lot of ground on paper without actually holding it physically. So that village is definitely in Tibet/china now even if it is shown as an Indian territory. You would find many areas in dibang valley and upper subansiri which are long gone claimed by us on papers sadly.

What do you guys think of the change in the general heading the Western Theatre Command?
More aggression in the upcoming summer months? What we can say for sure is if there's no disengagement we are likely to see more skirmishes this summer, and the Pakis are feeling adventurous as well, however, I believe that they are just testing the waters with the changing US administration.

this is nothing new...many nations do such when in drought.
that's what i was thinking even marriage companies use this method you can pay such companies to either create rainfall before you marriage to not ruin the weeding day or during the wedding day if that is what you wish for.
