These defensive actions maybe, maybe point out towards no such escalation anymore, because our economy cannot support a war with China. Maybe our plan is to just stop impending PLAGF and PLAAF. We can only defend. We've forgotten what offensive means post 1971.
Not a good time for immediate offence but rather keep getting ready with more preparations considering situation in the world, US elections and covid beaten world (most that supply our weapons are consumed with internal issues). Stalling is better at the moment as we are already in offensive positions...CCP already brought in all they could men and material.

Who brought CASO back in J&K?

Who sanctioned Myanmar and Pakistan raids?

Who has brought Pakistan to almost getting blacklisted by FATF?

Who is standing up to China and continuing to put man and material in Ladakh and on our northern borders?

Who has hit China the hardest economically? One may call it tokenism but we have taken maximum punitive measures compared to the rest who have only imposed a few tariffs and provided lip service at best. We can't block all imports from China till we declare them an enemy state to avoid getting dragged to WTO and other forums. Just when China thinks we are done, we give them another jhapadh.

We are staring at a two front war, massive attrition and losses if intense fighting breaks out with both Pakistan and China. We can't rush in.. it is not a section vs section brawl in high school. This is serious business, lives have already been lost. Do you want more losses with no gains to show on the ground?

This is a test for Modi give a strong statement world is watching
The key word here is so called. To counter the chinks' so called union territory of Ladakh jibe, MEA dug up a statement of Chinese foreign ministry in Hindustan Times published a month ago, which referenced the 1959 chinese LAC claim and called it so called.. and also said that the chinese know that it is a so called line, not recognised by India.. nice one from MEA..

MEA statements are now like cancer to my eyes. All fluff no substance.

BC why I am angry for few days because our moves are now stale, LOC ban ker rahega Laddakh, then wait for next 10 years until they want Jammu & IO Kashmir.
Sir with all due respect, What is IO Kashmir?

As far as i know, it’s Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir!

So my shouts on raising ten division worth of Army out of CAPF to deal with China seems to be nearing fruition.

If artillery mediumisation was on track we could transfer lots of guns to BSF to handle their portion of borders and thicken up Army firepower.
That would also mean CAPF being trained along army lines in a crash course, and also staffed by some Army officers.. any intent shown on that front ?

China on their radar, India, Japan, US, Australia to hold Quad meet on Oct 6

The four Quad partners have their own reasons for being upset with China’s aggressive posture under paramount leader Xi Jinping under the mask of the deadly coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic

finally, its happening :fyeah:

Guys, this might sound dhoti-shivering, so be it.

Have been watching the videos of the ongoing caucasian conflict. Must say that the Azerbaijanis are making good use of their UAVs and UCAVs destroying big no of Armenian assets, does IA/IAF have enough of these in our inventory, and also effective defence systems to tackle the same from the chinkis??

Also, going by the number of videos being shared by both sides in the conflict, one can see how important information warfare is. Hope our MOD is watching and learning and won't cover up things under the garb of official secrets act, during any upcoming conflict, and doesn't go numb like in the 2019 skirmish!!

They drop missiles on our cities and Uncle Sam gets an invitation to do similar things to them.

Remember, ching chongs don't want their precious economy, precious ports, precious exports being attacked either militarily or economically with sanctions by their top importers.
This is why shri Sun Tchu's WiN wiThOUt FiGhTiNG meme is their military doctrine it seems :pound:
....
To be honest, India has the capability to reach China. I don't understand why we think we have to depend on US to win our war. They would be helpful in managing diplomatic environment and maybe some supply side items but beyond that we don't need and we definitely should not want US to interfere. This is our moment to be the 'baap' of the neighborhood and depending on a foreign power is not what we should aim for. Plus the moment missiles land in any heartland city, it will be open season for both sides. There is not way in the world to distinguish a non-nuclear BM from a nuclear BM. The decision makers will have to start with the worst case scenario and return fire. Moving IRBMs close to border is a stupid move by Chinese. They will not be used unless they want to lose Shanghai or Guangzhou etc...

Interesting read:
Post Ladakh, PLA no longer a bogey for Indian Army | Analysis

On the eve of the 2004 general elections, a meeting of China Study Group (CSG) was held to review the status of border roads along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with the then Vice Chief of Army Staff briefing the apex group on strategic roads. At this meeting the then Home Secretary asked the Army general why we were not building strategic north-to-south roads and questioned the delays in doing so. The answer was that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) could use these roads to come into India. The Home Secretary shot back that at this rate India should also stop building roads in Delhi.

Another interesting read:
Dealing With Chinese Adventurism - The Way Forward

can we build something like this quickly? this mosquito can easily drop dozens of c4 on enemy or a single unit of 50-100lbs bomb. private contractors like L&T or kalyani group should be able to put something like this together in no time.

Would this contraption work in insane altitudes of Ladakh and rest of the Himalayan border/LAC? If not, PLA can use this to deliver bats to each other.

lets give credit where it's due, we cannot dismiss everything saying it won't work in ladakh  now what if this mosquito can actually function at high altitudes?
