Well technically Chinese haven't really intruded in LAC. There is no point where they are on our side of LAC. They are at the grey zones aka no mans land. It the area where both side patrol , and ofcourse chinese have built road infrastructure in the past few decades and we sit like nothing happened.
our diplomats , babus , politicians have no startegic thinking. We all know very well how things works in india. And nobody is gonna help us. As Americans say- MIGHT IS RIGHT.
This is exactly some of the good generals (retired) reiterated.

There was no reason to give details of what Chinese have done or where they are. We are defending our territorial integrity and that is all the world needs to know. Nobody asked for details and if they did let them do it in the UN.

I think the Chinese Rocket Artillery threat is over hyped.
The usual norm is that rockets are unguided and missiles are guided.
But we have rockets also getting micro guidance systems to increase accuracy
mimicking guided missiles. Like our Guided Pinaka having Trajectory Correction System.

The Chinese put a lot of faith in MBRL systems and have numerous versions with range even approaching 200 km. They do have more MBRL systems compared to us. But the extra long range rocket artillery need not disturb us too much.

Usually these extra long range MBRL systems come with 8 or 12 tubes meaning that maximum number of rockets launched is 12 units. One casualty of increasing range of rockets is reduced accuracy. The longer the range the more the deviation from the target coordinates. Now after travelling 200km if the rockets land many hundreds of meters apart from each other the objective of raining concentrated firepower on a target is lost. So we don't know how accurate these extra long rockets are and whether the Chinese have managed to have a low CEP for each rocket.

We have our own Prahaar Ballistic Missile system of 150 km range having 6 tube capability. I believe the range can be increased by reducing the warhead weight. By simply positioning two Prahaar missile batteries side by side we can salvo launch 12 missiles at the same target equalling one Chinese MBRL firing 12 rockets. And all the Prahaar missiles are fully guided with on board guidance systems including GPS and the target coordinates can be fed before launch.

Our old Prithvi missiles go up to 350km with a 500kg warhead. I am sure the long-range Chinese rocket artillery does not have 500kg warheads.

So we do have answers to the extra long range rocket artillery of the PLA.
Also if the Chinese start using hundreds of MBRL we can start using our Air force to target the launchers with stand off munitions.

I am sure this situation has been wargamed and answers kept ready by our Army.
Since when did MBRL's finished a war that easily? I agree with your take, they can be countered and its not easy to target anything at those heights that easily. Siachen can be taken by cutting supply chain but I am sure this is not 1962 and IA is fully prepared in keeping DBO, Demchok areas more than anything.

Sir ji, every country, especially big countries know exactly whats going on. Un would make no difference , afterall our border with china is disputed in the first place. Besides chinese have openly defied UN ruling on illegal Chinese claims .

IF Chinese are salami slicing we don’t need to say they are not intruding.

Well we should have talked about that when it first started which was decades back. That ship has sailed long time ago. Listen to DM ANTONY in 2013 after losing so much land. at least this time they are getting some tit for tat. Besides dont worry too much about it we are well placed politically which matters the most. One deadlock have already been broken

have no formal alliance with any quad nation.
We run to Russia for emergency purchase when arming Chinese is their priority. Pakistan has a clear alliance with China . We have none. Diplomacy will not save India
Yes. If indian politicians and diplomats have a ambition to make India. Credible while having strategic autonomy then we have to move forward with make in india in defence just like what we have done with strategic systems.
Ambitions of strategist which aim to make india a defining power of Asia on paper and on doctrine should also understand that to achieve this it will require indian blood and sweat. No other way around
we have nearly 68% of military hardware from russia. In every project they are involved, be it cruise missile , nuclear reactors for submarine, etc. We can't afford that. Russians are still not selling any major military equipment to pakistan and thats good enough for us.
Russians have specially updated new RD-88 for porks with better cooling and better thermals.
What india can't afford run a military modernization program and progress with indigenous +foreign oem make in india stuff. It's the other way around Russian industry can't afford to lose india and technically saying we should not be afraid be blackmailed by porks getting few weapons from Russians Chinese or from xyz country we are big enough to takle them. India should stop being afraid of Pakistan getting Chinese or Russian system they are not alien technology.

Russians sell equipment to Chinese and Chinese give knock of aid to porks.

Interesting news fellas!

---

Russia has started a military buildup in the far-East of its province near the Chinese border by citing tensions in the eastern strategic direction, Reuters has reported.

As per Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu the military reinforcements were sent to the far-east due to "tensions in the eastern strategic direction". The exact details of the troop mobilisation were not provided by the Defence Minister.

The eastern strategic direction refers to an area which "encompasses Russia's eastern border with China and the wider Asia-Pacific".

Besides the military buildup the Russian Defence Minister has also announced an upgrade of Russia's Northern Naval Fleet. The far-eastern region will also get 500 units of new modern military equipment.
The report quotes an analyst as saying that Russia is ensuring sufficient military deployment in the region in case a naval conflict between the United States and China spills over.

It should be noted that a few months ago Russia and China were embroiled in a war of words. After Russian officials had posted a video of 160th anniversary celebrations over the founding of Vladivostok on Weibo, Chinese officials quickly picked a bone with them by claiming that Vladivostok used to be Chinese territory in the 19th century.

You are right but remember that similarly pakistan has usa f16 , aim120 missile's, atgm, mbrls, France's submarines with anti ship missiles. Now you would say that they didn't sell it in today's times. And yes you would be right except they would need OEM for maintenance. Swedish sold eyerie to pakistan and also was part of mrca. Tells you the reality.

Ivan's usual sabre-rattling tricks aimed at US/Japan/Korea, not at China, contrary to what Swarajya is spinning.
The vague "tensions in the eastern strategic direction" statement is aimed at China though, perhaps a signal to the Chinese to behave themselves vis-a-vis RFE & Vladivostok related matters.

Meanwhile not exactly related to this thread, but still :pound:

Globalists out to humiliate Trump, can't even let him ban two apps.

US judge blocks Commerce Department order to remove WeChat from app stores

WASHINGTON: A US judge early Sunday blocked the Commerce Department from requiring Apple Inc and Alphabet Inc's Google to remove Chinese-owned messaging app WeChat for downloads by late Sunday.
US Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler in San Francisco said in an order that WeChat users who filed a lawsuit "have shown serious questions going to the merits of the First Amendment claim, the balance of hardships tips in the plaintiffs’ favor."
On Friday, the Commerce Department had issued a order citing national security grounds to block the app from US app stores owned by Tencent Holding's and the Justice Department had urged Beeler not to block the order.
Beeler's preliminary injunction also blocked the Commerce order that would have barred other transactions with WeChat in the United States that could have degraded the site's usability for current US users. The US Commerce Department did not immediately comment.
WeChat has had an average of 19 million daily active users in the United States, analytics firms Apptopia said in early August. It is popular among Chinese students, Americans living in China and some Americans who have personal or business relationships in China.
The Justice Department said blocking the order would "frustrate and displace the president’s determination of how best to address threats to national security." But Beeler said "while the general evidence about the threat to national security related to China (regarding technology and mobile technology) is considerable, the specific evidence about WeChat is modest."
She added "The regulation — which eliminates a channel of communication without any apparent substitutes — burdens substantially more speech than is necessary to further the government’s significant interest."
WeChat is an all-in-one mobile app that combines services similar to Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Venmo. The app is an essential part of daily life for many in China and boasts more than 1 billion users.
The WeChat Users Alliance that had sued praised the ruling "as an important and hard-fought victory" for "millions of WeChat users in the US"
Michael Bien, a lawyer for the users, said "the United States has never shut down a major platform for communications, not even during war times. There are serious First Amendment problems with the WeChat ban, which targets the Chinese American community."
He added the order "trampled on their First Amendment guaranteed freedoms to speak, to worship, to read and react to the press, and to organize and associate for numerous purposes."

Russia should learn a lesson from Laddakh conflict that China's hunger for land can never be satisfied. Russia should take back the land it ceded to China in 2005.

This chumma chaati with China is only until

  • China doesn't get so powerful that it doesn't need Russia anymore.
  • US stops it's globalist promoted RUSSIA BAD bullshit that belongs in the Cold War.
During Russian Empire times their Tsars were fearful of a "Yellow Horde" like the mongols from China, and the "White race vs the numberless Mongoloid hordes"
Even during post WW2 Soviet times similar fears were present.

China poses a timeless threat to Russian Far East/Siberia and Central Asian 'stan vassals of Russia.
This is an alliance of convenience promoted by globalist controlled US belligerence.

We need to be like NK, rely on nuclear threat and ready to use it. China has more to lose than us. We can't let them play this land mafia type war. This does not make sense....build up nuclear retaliation and delivery small scale and large scale to make China think twice.
The land mafia type behavior has already created lot of animosity against them. If India can stand firm at Ladakh or maybe even take some land, it will send the right signal.

Once we have 5-6 SSBN's, the nuclear threat becomes more credible. By 2025 we should have 4 of them and along with the Soviet leased ones, it can form a credible nuclear threat to the mainland.

Eventually China will have two large economies in India and US threatening them. Then their next century of humiliation will begin if they dont mend by then.

They don't have to put boots on Siachen, they can bomb our base there or use rocket arty strikes. They have a rocket that can fire from a distance of 175+ km.
There is no Capture or victory without boots... even in this nuclear age boots are the only means to measure victory...

We have seen a lot of destructive firepowers - from air, ground forces and from the sea in Iraq and Afghanistan as we saw that in Vietnam but we could not see victory there due to the paucity or defeat of boots...

Russians cozying up to china have forgotten history. once china is powerful enough it will grab russian territory and plunder it and they wont be able to do zilch about it.

someone needs to remind them of russo japanese war they lost against a small island nation like japan what chance will they have when chinese come after them.

This animosity will not materialize into anything, the Chinks know this, which is why they are continuing with this behavior, It is only up to Bharat to respond to their stunts with the stick.
All other countries can keep being Eunuchs in the Chinese court.

Yes the day Chongs feel Russia has outlived it's usefulness, Siberia will be "A part of China since 5,000 years"
Then Russia will go and bend the knee to West/US/Globalists/Jews/Whatever this group is, to save themselves from the yellow horde.
By then it will be too late, China will have already acquired and reverse engineered whatever Russian high tech defense HW is there.
