I think, as soon as we will be able to sort out China, Oli will completely stop barking and can even offer us "Sijda" and "Paibos".

Oli is like a child who is seeking attention but nobody is giving him any.
I'm not against the common people of Nepal but if the majority also think/continue to think us as enemy, we just need to completely seal our border. let China supply them all the commodities.
and just for a reference, one month's cost for that will be couple of times of Nepal's gdp.

at first let them survive without us, then we can think/judge if we will continue to be enemies or friends.

at this point in time, Oli is just a distraction and we'd eliminate any distraction to concentrate on the matter in question.
Nepal and India relation is an interesting dynamics. When Nepal was governed by Dharmic people, India was governed by decadent people. Now, Nepal is governed by decadent people and India is governed by Dharmic people. So there never was an opportunity to form a union.

Our full build up on borders puts Pak on high alert and forces them to divert more money to army when they are already on their knees servicing Chinese. I am not sure but I hope all this army mobilization helps locals and also Indian economy for procurement whereever possible with domestic supplies.
Also it allows testing a lot of battlefield plans. In peace time you could never send such large numbers of troops to Ladakh but this deployment allows testing lots of operational readiness aspects. $1 billion is a small price to pay for this, most of the money will go to Indian industries

Even if in case of war Aksai Chin is not easy to take over.. I hope both GOI & IA make a dash towards Rutog & G219 & manage to capture entire Ngari prefecture right upto Kailash Mansarovar. Both these Johnson line & MacMohan lines are irrelevant in a disputed border. Aim for the big
Making a Dash ...Ah....

Making a dash or race to swift is neither possible for China nor for India and both sides are stuck on the Chip Chap, Cheng Chenmo and Kailash ranges, For the Chinese there is the formidable Karakoram right in front. For Indians there are a series of mountains before they reach Soda Plains, Lengzi Tang plains or areas across Indus valley.

Moreover, kinetic energy is not efficient in high altitude, Be it aircraft, helicopters, tanks or vehicles. Even man is very slow. There is no race to the swift it is slow and sturdy.

No one is a Gama in the Land of Lama. Not even Lama.

:hmm: We should follow Chinese and replace windows with custom linux desktop .

There is already one in works called Bharat Operating System Solutions (BOSS),
By the time it comes out, world will be 5 generations ahead. Govt just need to force these service companies to invest in R&D with a tax regime that is geared towards domestic market share and R&D. Most OS and other things come out of Univ's, so challenge the advanced institutes and make thesis mandatory addressing a practical problem that country needs to solve.

We are basically a reactive kind of power.. If China is showing Arunachal in its maps we'll also do the same & show Aksai Chin in ours. That's what we do. We always had a claim over PoK & Aksai.. All I am saying what you are suggesting is extremely unlikely. Our Governments don't work that way.
What we can do are things like banning any companies that have businesses or supply chains in that area from operating in India but we have a little bit to go in terms of our economical stature to do that but if its Chinese/SL/BD/Nepal/Malayasia e.t.c then it should be done as a symbolic measure.

So a few days back some people here were conversating about the H6 bombers at Hotan and how will it be used, this gives some idea :
#Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense states that on Sept 18th, #China's AF had two H-6 bombers, eight J-16 fighters, four J-10 fighters and four J-11 fighters cross the midline of the Taiwan Strait and enter Taiwan's southwest ADIZ. Taiwan scrambled jets and AD missile systems.

What is the deal here ? Why should germs side with chinks ? I thought germ had an excellent industrial and manufacturing base , and ofcourse so called germ pride, so why the need to import from chinks ? Or is it that chinks are a huge export market for them ?
Merkel is in soros camp 100%, importing muzzie migrants to dilute local Germans and Soros is anti-Trump. She will not work with any center-right govt's.

In the last four days, Indian positions have witnessed a daily stream of Chinese combat medics evacuate small numbers of PLA troops from high altitude posts in the Fingers area on stretchers, a morbid reminder of the effects of rarefied air and extreme freezing conditions even during the day.

These conditions will get significantly worse with each passing day. The evacuated troops have been regularly replaced to maintain numbers at these forward posts, some of which are less than a kilometre from Indian positions.

Winter is the best time to attack the Chinkies and kick their asses off from the bases and permanently fortify there..

We have advantage of fighting in mountains as well as in harsh winters.
Chinkies have never done that in their history & fighting in that harsh terrain can be daunting to even the most battle hardened soldiers..

lol @ anything flying in that winter & at that altitude.
More crashes would happen because of the harsh environment than anything enemy does.

Once the battle starts, I would bet it would be man power that would decide the winner than the machines..

I think the day balloon goes up.. India blows Moldo garrison & China in response starts a artillery barrage on DBO... Maybe even rocket Artillery. This is going to be the likely first exchanges.
Why only Moldo ?

India is in a position to blow up all camps from Finger 5 to 8, Srijap, Gogra, Kongkha, Hot Spring, Galwan and Chinese positions in Depsang, Demchok and Chumur.

If need be Indians are in a position to blow off all Chinese camps and installation inside Chumbi valley.

Why restrict to Moldo. This type of opportunity does not arise every time..

They cant breathe inside oxygenated tents ? And they came all the way to fight the Indian army ? Come winter, maybe the weather itself will defeat the Chinese army.
