I don't believe in that theory, but it isn't just South Indian parties. There have been several instances of North Indians using it as well.

I have predominantly seen it used by South Indian parties and not by any North Indian party. you may be right but I have not seen it.

There was a video from China, post Galwan where a soldier's ashes were taken to the family. So, there are cases where PLA performs the funeral rituals of dead soldiers, and not the family. Easy to pass off death of 30 soldiers' death as "Death due to bus falling in a gorge"

wouldn't it make more sense to vacate kailash ranges after disengagement has been done at other points likes despang hot springs areas etc.

Why give away you prized possession at the start itself.

Few Men will still be there just big guns will be withdrawn. We have also blocked their traditional patroling route in depsang. So its tit for tat already. I believe only once all points of contention are resolved we will bring back the few remaining men.
