This pretty much cooperation will be increasing.
They will create a red herring non-issue for public consumption, in background preparations will be made for G2 world(officially).

The red herring will be something that will projected as a major issue in news and think tank world, but in reality will have no impact on CCP’s schedule to take over the world.

Yup, CCP strategy for the next decade is "make America look and feel like it's the #1 superpower when it isn't really one, run the world as a de facto #1 superpower from the shadows, let Americans live in a delusional bubble of their own making, beat them in GDP nominal, and chase down their GDP per-capita in the following decades."

By 2050, China will have the same sway over US internal affairs as it has over Pakistan's right now.

Some user said it on twitter too (maybe it was you if you have an account, idk) - but that's where I saw it. And it made a lot of sense to me considering the future plans/role of those islands.
Yes, an S-400 Regiment, a PAD & AAD Regiment, Multiple Air defence systems layering, a permanent station for 2 squadrons of dedicated aircraft of Navy which currently isn’t happening IAF and IN aircrafts only take off and land but don’t get stationed there so Navy needs to have a permanent aircraft deployment. With procurement of additional aircraft.

China needs an other decade of "The peaceful rise of china" to truly surpass US in most if not all areas.

Biden administration will once again start focusing on the Russian bogeyman antagonizing them even more and pushing them towards the Chinese.

Oh it will be a peaceful rise. The first order of business for the next SecDef will be ordering the US Navy to withdraw from the South China Sea, to enable a "peaceful reunification" between China and Taiwan.

That was discussed before placing the order for 5 systems. The bigger issue is the need for "secondary equipment" along with S400 which makes it too expensive atm. Besides armed forces were in favour of upcoming XRSAM for ANC. Specially since it will have reportedly better capabilities than S400 at a much cheaper price.

LOL, after the US election, GoI must impose a 2% "National Defence Cess" on all goods and services transacted in India (just like the Swacch Bharat Cess), and dot every district headquarters bordering Pak and China with an S-400 deployment.

We are positively entering a time in our lives where Chi-Pak can wage a 2-front war, and the US won't do jack shit.
Most sources say that of the 5 that are being bought, 3 are for Pak border and 2 for China - looks about adequate to me (maybe the China front could use another system).

But the Pak border - and even much of its own airspace - in particular, will almost completely be covered by the 3 systems assigned to that front.

India does need to hike defense spending without any doubt (don't know if a cess is needed or not) - but there are other things that need to be spent on as well beyond ADS:

- Good weapons for ground troops
- More fighter jets (expanded LCA order w/ speedy delivery + follow on Rafale order)
- More AF force multipliers (AWACS + tankers)
- More submarines + ASW helos for all the ships
- More attack helos (solve the ATGM issue and then massively increase the size of LCH order, push speed of deliveries)

As for the two front situation; have been crying myself hoarse even when Trump was around that India needs to conclusively wrap up Pakistan ASAP, redirect military resources at China, and focus on economic growth.

But we have recently passed laws regarding funding of NGOs so every thing should be okay.

But I think what should he the main concern for India is that we have only 1 month left if we wish to do something to pakistan or take back pok.

After that we can throw our plans for pok in the dustbin.

US lobby is very strong in India especially between babus they will never let us get back pok or let things escalate towards a war.
