Chinese are addicted to the game of Go and I am sure their Peasant Guerilla Generals can not be an exception.
Go is a game of occupation of territory on a board. The one who occupies maximum territory is the winner. The picture looks like this :

One look at Nathan Rusters stellite images depicting Chinese and Indian deployment looks exactly like a Go game board. I have written a few posts here about how Chinese military commanders like to play GO on the military field. Now it appears the game is highly contagious and it has spread to Indian Generals and the public.
Indian Generals can not cast away their basic cultural instincts of the game of Chess. Chess is not the game of territory but that of deft moves to impose defeat on the enemy. Indian Military appears to have forgotten the moves of football to score goals rather than to spread all over the football field.
In this environment of the game of Go which the Chinese are playing Indian generals must concentrate on "Shah aur Maat" ... operation moves that will score a crippling goal so that Chinese hogs are flat on the ground and decide to quit the board rather than go to another corner to start places the stone to gain another piece of territory.
Come on generals play Chess when Chinese invited you for a game of Go. Target the King and the queen...
