India won't accept unilateral change of status quo at LAC, Jaishankar to China

"Discussions focused on the outstanding issues along the LAC in the Western Sector. Highlighted that unilateral change of status quo is not acceptable. Full restoration and maintenance of peace and tranquility in border areas is essential for development of our ties. Agreed on convening an early meeting of the Senior Military Commanders," the foreign minister said.

— Dr. S. Jaishankar (@DrSJaishankar)

Both the leaders had a detailed exchange of views on the current situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh. Jaishankar pointed out to Wang Yi that disengagement in Pangong Lake area earlier this year had created conditions for resolving remaining issues. "It was expected that China would work with us towards this objective but situation in remaining areas is still unresolved," he said.

Do you really believe that we are talking about border conflicts?
Talking about Afghanistan.
Pakistan will never want China to have control over Afghanistan. It will be an existential crisis for them. Afghanis never recognised Durrand line and they also claim parts of Balochistan as their own.

Pakistanis are behind your civilian deaths. CPEC not coming, wet dreams of you Chinese are over.

Any particular reason for this?
for remote locations along Arunachal pradesh , there is no posts , both sides only patrol every now and then

we write 'INDIA" + date in black/yellow . they write 'CHINA' in red. , we cross out their writings , they white wash out our writing.

this goes on back and forth .

there is no road , you have to trek for days to reach these places. harder to salami slice here,

The chinese border crisis will continue for the next couple of decades. The trust has been broken and it is hard to undo that. China doesn't trust India that is being somehow competitive despite there not being comparable in power but still the trust has fallen between both states. It will be a tense relations for the next 2-3 decades until it blows up one day.

The same thing with Pakistan the relations has broken down and there is no trust. PK's are getting short on patience with India and could decide at some point to say fuk this shit we are going in. They are very moody and depends on how much you annoy them.. They have that unpredictablity to their nature and I would say they are more unpredictable than China because they have a certain ego..
Tell em to get moody tomorrow , we will wait for them

India's best interest is mediocre to good relationship with China and bad to worst relation with Pakistan

Jaishankar, Wang differ on way forward for India-China ties

While India’s External Affairs Minister said that the continuing impasse was ‘visibly impacting the relationship in a negative manner’, China’s Foreign Minister called on both sides to ‘place the boundary issue in an appropriate position’.

Mr. Wang, in contrast, said in China’s view the boundary should be kept “in an appropriate place” and it should be addressed while “expanding” other “positive aspects” of the relationship, an argument that Delhi has rejected.

Wang the puppet wants to continue it the diplomacy faking everything is fine.
with china everything is faked.
Those idiots make a big issue out of even meeting representatives from Taiwan or govt officials meeting Dalai Lama, but something that impacts territorial integrity, strategic security and lives is "appropriate place" wow.
I liked how Jai Shankar was blunt and public.

we can hate on ajay shukla all day but what about this picture ?

taken on top of F4 , looks recent , after feb .

what were they doing in buffer zone ?

:hmm: my fear is without people like ajay shukla , talks will go on ,both hotspring and depsang bulge will end up in chinese hands. these are places from where we could push into china and cut off g219 road.

And once they are firmly in PLA hands they may make a move into Arunachal Pradesh , where we are weaker.

Depsang and Hot springs permanently gone nothing can be done for now without kinetic action.

My concerns are for AP now, but there is a huge differences between the terrains of both Ladakh and AP.

Most of the AP has Vietnam/SE Asian type of terrain which is difficult to sustain by any aggressor.

China's main aim is to take control over all Buddhist majority areas all along the Himalayas/LAC. Tibet done and now Ladakh and Tawang in AP.
China now also nibbling parts of Bhutan.
