I've always wondered if something like the A-10 tank buster modified for higher altitudes could be developed in India. Something that rugged could really help out Indian ground forces in a close air support role by killing PLA tanks and artillery.

big slow plane is a big slow target for a missile. Drones are better are much better. Even if it is just a little drone that provides video and a missile lock. Then a guy can blast the tank from a distance. Develop (buy) more drones. China already has gobs of them.

The first verison Egypt got was f2 version. We got F3r . Thats why difference in pricing. We also ordered Meteor. They didnt.
