India-bound Samjhauta Express' engine catches fire in Pakistan

Islamabad: The engine of the India-bound Samjhauta Express caught fire in Pakistan's Lahore district on Monday, police said. There were no casualties.

According to Railway Deputy Superintendent of Police Javed Anwar, the incident occurred near Mughalpura station.

Fire brigade personnel detached the engine from the Samjhauta Express, reported Geo News.


The 312 passengers who were on board the train were safe and a substitute engine has been sent, Mr Anwar said.

These Pakistani 3rd class engines i tel u. Indians should avoid pak trains





why cant pak put good engines on samjhauta express ,

Why cant they get Engines from China & Nk, just like they did to missiles, at lest engine has economic usage, missile does not have much to use except in war.
