While the whole 'wonder' thing is bit debatable, any such list which does not have Brihadeshwara temple,Belur & Halebidu temple complex,Hampe and Ajanta-Ellora is really no list at all.

And what the Red fort doing there, historical significance is not good enough.

As I have mentioned the 7 wonders were a program in which people voted to choose them. For me any list without the backwaters of Kerela is not complete. Regarding Red Fort , it is a great structure.

Lotus Temple, Delhi

It is a very recent architectural marvel of the Bahai faith. Fariborz Sahba, Canadian architect of Iranian origin, spent 10 years in designing and project management, and with the help of a team of about 800 engineers, technicians, artisans and workers brought to realization one of the most complicated constructions in the world. The lotus represents the Manifestation of God, and is also a symbol of purity and tenderness. Its significance is deeply rooted in the minds and hearts of the Indians.

Wular Lake, Jammu & Kashmir

Wular lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. It plays a significant role in the hydrographic system of the Kashmir valley by acting as a huge absorption basin for the annual floodwaters. The lake, along with the extensive marshes surrounding it, is an important natural habitat for wildlife. It is also an important habitat for fish, accounting for 60 per cent of the total fish production within the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The lake is a source of livelihood for a large human population living along its fringes. The catchment area of the lake supports magnificent coniferous forests, alpine pastures and orchards, adding to the natural beauty and biodiversity of the wetland area.
