Indian cricket team is due to visit BD to play one test and three ODIs.

India's selectors named full-strength squads for the Test and the ODI series, with no first-choice players requesting rest despite having played the World Cup and the IPL back to back. Offspinner Harbhajan Singh has been recalled to the India squad for the solitary Test in Bangladesh in June. Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja has been dropped from the squad that toured Australia in 2014-15.

Mumbai: Rakhi Sawant has once again stirred a controversy after she confessed her love for Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli posing a serious threat to his rumored girlfriend Anushka Sharma .




Speaking to media persons at a recent event, Sawant openly confessed her love for Kohli and said, "I like Virat a lot and Anushka hasn't confessed publicly as yet. But I am confessing my love for the young cricketer as I love him and since Anushka has not accepted his love openly, therefore, she would like to express her love for the cricketer."



Sawant confessed her love for Kohli at a spa launch in Mumbai.

A dazzling display of seam bowling from teenage sensation Mustafizur Rahman has fired Bangladesh to their first-ever series win against India.






Sunday’s six-wicket win also helped the Tigers claim a spot in the 2017 Champions Trophy.

The 19-year old tore through the much-vaunted India batting line-up to become the first player to pick up 11 wickets in his first two ODIs.

With two successive five-wicket hauls, he also equalled the record of Zimbabwe seamer Brian Vitori.

Mustafizur left India batsman clueless as Bangladesh skittled out the tourists for 200 in 45 overs in the rain-shortened game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

The hosts were given a revised target of 200 in 47 overs.

Although, the tourists fought back with regular inroads, the Tigers never looked in trouble as they cruised to the win with 54 balls to spare and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Bangladesh are now on a winning run of 10 matches on the trot with the famous win.

Bangladesh’s teenage fast bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman has stormed into record book with his fiery cutters that left India flummoxed at the Tigers’ den.






The 19-year old tore through the much-vaunted India batting line-up to become the first player to pick up 11 wickets in his first two ODIs.

With two successive five-wicket hauls, he also equalled the record of Zimbabwe seamer Brian Vitori.

Mustafizur left India batsman clueless as Bangladesh skittled out the tourists for 200 in 45 overs in the rain-shortened game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.

He followed up his Thursday’s 5 for 50 with 6 for 43 in the second ODI to become only the second bowler to achieve the feat.

Incidentally, Vitori recorded the feat against Bangladesh in 2011.

Mustafizur varied his pace, line and length to have the Indians guessing all the while in his second spell after his first five overs had cost him 32 runs.

He drew first blood scalping opener Rohit Sharma for a duck in the second ball of the match.

Brought back on in the 36th over, he ripped through the Indian middle-order with cutters just when skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (47) and Suresh Raina (34) had looked like making a slow recovery.

He first had Raina caught behind by wicket-keeper Liton Kumar Das off a rising cutter outside the off-stump.

Soon after, another of his lethal cutters foxed Dhoni into playing early and the India captain’s attempted cover driver ballooned up to Soumya Sarkar at mid-off for an easy catch.

In the very next ball, the new find trapped Axar Patel lbw with a dipping in-swinger.

Though denied the hat-trick by a watchful Ravichandran Ashwin, Mustafizur completed his five-for soon after removing the lanky Indian spinner, caught behind with yet another off-cutter.

Mustafiz added Ravindra Jadeja (19) to his prey in the last ball of his fabulous spell after play resumed. He pitched it full and straight as Jadeja played across as the ball ricocheted to rattle the stumps.

Mustafizur, in the process, surpassed all other Bangladesh bowlers before him.

His fellow paceman Taskin Ahmed grabbed two wickets in his second match after a five-for on debut.

Even after considering overall career records, Mustafizur is the only bowler in Bangladesh with two straight five-wicket hauls.

Abdur Razzak stands closest with four wickets in a match following a five-for, against Zimbabwe in 2010.

In fact, Razzak and Mustafizur are the only two bowlers with more than one five-fors in ODIs.

Razzak did it four times. Seven other Bangladesh bowlers have the credit of taking five wickets in a match once in their ODI careers.

Maybe it's a wake up call for BCCI to pull its socks up and recruit a new team for CWC2019 to be held in England. Remove all non performers a la SIR Raveendra Jadeja, Raina etc. Bring a new team. KL Rahul deserves a go in the team as well.

From the outside we hear of issues/ dirty politics/ MNC interest groups within Indian cricket. Is it possible Dalmiya will be able to bring in some change?
