I have several questions for Mr. Khan, but the most important is - how does he suggest the hearts and mind be won of terrorists? should people stop drones and killing the people that are training to kill on both sides of the border? did Mushy's not try this tactic of hearts and mind , to only have the Taliban approach 100 miles from Karachi? tell me how to win the heart of a fundamental, caliphate seeking, religious fanatic terrorist, who has no qualms in dying for his fanatical beliefs?

Let me assure you of something. Imran Khan is deluded. I'll tell you why.

For one, he assumes overseas Pakistanis have a "GDP greater than that of entire Pakistan". He does not realize that overseas Pakistani's earning are, in fact, part of the GDPs of their respective nations. He assumes these GDP's can be accessed. He thus premises his support on overseas Pakistanis, in the belief that this "extensive GDP" will come to the aid of Pakistan's woes. What in fact can be accessed is only overseas remuneration. A greater part of which goes to the families of those working abroad, and serves to further exacerbate the divide between rich and poor in Pakistan. A good part of it is also investment-based, which means that any security situation in Pakistan that is deteriorating, will deter this investment. He, thus, has no comprehension about economics. The security situation has to be resolved first. And this is what that government is doing. All of these promises will come to nothing, once (if) he does come to power.

For two, he premises his support on "overseas" Pakistanis. Pakistanis who have no base of electoral support, back in the motherland. His history of palyboyism, in a scenario of growing extremist Islamism, also does not help.

His party is also made up of the legions of corrupt scum eschewed by the PPP and the PML(N). So while he may be squeaky clean, his party is not. And he will have a tough time reining them in, in the absence of the institutions and proper laws of government.

Fourthly, he has made an enemy of the "mullahs", by making friends of the young, liberal, journalised and small coterie of elite Pakistanis. He talks about 'Selective Islam', like it happened yesterday in Pakistan. Something that has enraged minds and hearts of conservative Pakistanis.

Fifthly, he talks about a 'welfare state'. You can redistribute, when you have something to redistribute. Pakistan has nothing in the way of monies to redistribute. And the debate on and 'selective myopia', has only stymied taxes.

You can have a shrewd, corrupt politician. And by way of institutions, try and rein him in. But it is even more dangerous, when you have a dumb politician.

/\/\/\ Imran Khan is also deluded because he does not know that Majority of Pakistanis abroad are either Car Drivers, have Off Licence retail shops, restaurants (that are named after India), or are sales assistants in Major retail outlets like Tesco etc.

Interestingly Mr. khan is interviewd by Indian channel not by his own Pakiz channel. Nobody give imp to him in his own country or may be what pak has to do with economic forum. " pak kya jane adrak ka sawad":becky::becky::mod:

She is more interested in Pakistanis than Indians.
