Europe and to a small extent USA haven't woken up to the changing geopolitical situation.

The next 2 decades are going to be funny. They'll be seething non-stop as their unilateral hegemony comes to an end.
2008 global financial crisis caused European Union to stagnate, EU's GDP has't grown since 2007 and Covid + Russia-Ukraine war is the final nail in their coffins.

Within 15 years India will overtake entire EU, within 10 years India will overtake OIC, Within 5 years India will overtake ASEAN and India is already bigger than African Union.

Cumskin getting cooked for suggesting that USA should ban Air India

Not his opinion alone. US carriers have asked their administration to restrict other carriers from using Russian airspace while flying to the US by denying them landing rights. Since US carriers are banned by Russia from overlying the country, they are finding several long haul flights impossible to do. Chinese carriers are amongst the biggest beneficiaries and US carriers are lobbying for some action by their government.

These are all foot soldiers of Christian Missionaries. They have an agenda towards releasing such biased studies.

Same as the Muslims translating Vedas/ Bagawat Gita & adding Quranic verses & Ola to it. Just, much more institutionalised & richer.

Fortunately these are still Indians who know the reality & will rip their skin off in any debate.

The Ramkrishna Mission is doing a good job in teaching the Vedantas, so that these Western Scums do not because the Authority on translation of our own philosophy.
RKM is another dumbass place. Celebrating Christmas and all doing incredible amounts of secularism stuff

The rest of the world can outdo them in factory output and infrastructure. But the missing ingredient is research and development. Every technological innovation still comes from the west, with a little bit of help from Japan. Neither China nor India have been able to get anywhere close to them in core innovation on the broad scale, apart from making our own versions of something after the west has discovered it. Simply counting the patents or number of startups doesn't show the true picture. China tried something with its "thousand lights program", but that also turned out to be just another communist LARP.

If there is to be a true breaking of western hegemony over the world, it can only be achieved by matching their R&D. There needs to be an exponential increase in university and private R&D funding along with getting rid of the babus overseeing any such programs. The mentality of businesses in the developing world also needs to drastically change.

In the pursuit of unseating the west in technology, Africa, Latin America and South East Asia are just deadweights. They have no ambition to discover and produce new tech themselves. So most of the non west is just out of the fight. We're left with China, India, Japan, SoKo and maybe Taiwan which have any intention or capability to go in this direction.

West(public & private) funds STEM where they don't question RoI while in India RoI is a point of discussion from day one.

If the project fails to achieve its desired objectives in the West, they say 'hua toh hua', take notes and move on while in India if its a Govt. entity then there are calls of corruption, CAG makes long notes, there's talk of discrimination, caste & religious kanging over it.

Would be amazed to know the amount of inputs that went into the Arjun tank from IITM(students under guidance from profs) while the folks from HVF would sit and gawk in awe, eat, sleep & leave by evening not forgetting to claim their TA/DA.

It is only in recent years that we see research get some serious push & interest from alumni, frat groups besides some assistance from state & central govts in the form of grants but that's not very reliable.

R&D happens but its more so in the private sector... vastly flies below the radar... whether its Strand Life Sciences in Bangalore or Dupont in Hyd.. not to forget contributions to Qualcom from several small companies, some of which were acquired in the decade before last.

To visualize this, we are up against the Red camp, and only the countries in Blue have any potential or intent to challenge them in the scientific sphere. At the moment the Blue camp does not even do 20% of the innovation that comes form the Red camp. The grey parts of the world are deadweights and out of the fight.

Yes, I'm including Russia in grey. Trust me, as someone who has worked on projects in one of their top universities, and has interacted with many of their scientists, engineers and a few tech companies, I can say with certainty that Russia cannot even contribute in this fight despite their talent and intelligence. I'll write a post later on why that is. I also put the Aussies and Kiwis in grey because they're not significant enough in this sphere.
