There was a short debate on Churchill here. Don't focus on whether he intended a famine or not. We are not trying to be journalists digging the truth, we should look to set narratives. Or what? People want simple, easy to understand statements. That applies for Indians as well as the Brits.

Even if he intended good for India, Churchill is ultimately an agent of the British Empire and worse, the hero of Brits. That alone is reason enough to vilify him. Why are we trying to the good guys anyway? Can't we attack? Can't we gaslight? Can't we set narratives?

The British culture is dying and we should let it die on our terms. Why should we compassionate towards a nation that still treats us with derision? They talk about giving us economic aid and mock us about our rocket program. Don't defend the brits.

Rather than feeling sorry for them, think how we can act against them now that the situation is right. If our roles are reverse, what happens? Haven't you see in the past 75 years?

Time for a payback.

What I'm really glad about is that UK is drowning without even our intervention. If possible, we should make trade agreements that crush their traditional strengths even further and eat up their economy bit by bit without making it seem like an economic war.

Don't we have a lot of students going to UK to study in their colleges? Target the students to study in their important fields, then have them come here, set up their own companies and blow their economy. There are plenty of talented students who lack the money and would take up the condition. It'll simultaneously strength our economy while weakening theirs.

And why are acting like pussies when UK was so hinduphobic in Leincester? Flare up their muslims by some blasphemy crap, put them against the whites, give them a taste of their own medicine.

For what they've done to crores of Indians and continue to do so, UK should not have a good ending.

Reddit is still a white majority platform, specifically, American centric. If Indians ever join it en masse like we recently did to Youtube, then all these racist whites will have to brace for millions of downvotes. They'd be hit so bad that they might start crying. Forget Karma, they'll have to close their accounts.

Even now, Reddit is the only place they can show that racism on us without getting retaliated hard. Everywhere else, youtube, twitter, facebook—our youth have taken over. Anyone dares to say "India" and the brigade storms the site. We troll so hard they'll call mommy and daddy for help against facist Indians.

But still look at this, they still have avoided mentioning India. Nelson Wang is Indian Chinese, but they would avoid mentioning Indian part.
Lol are they accusing Nelson Wang time traveling from 70s India to 90s Pakistan for getting inspiration from Lahori resturant- then travelling back to recreate that dish in 70s India?:rofl:

Yeah, Reddit is truly nasty place. Racism against Indians is pretty much normal. I deleted my account. Too much negativity in that shit-hole website. IMO we really need a message board website for Indian folks. DFi is not really that popular and I found this website while searching for updates on Kaveri engine lol.

Yeah it would be better if it was a white 3 time divorcee (cheating on the current wife), 'friend' of Jeffery Epstein who's also in bed with the Russian intelligence and the Italian mafia fucking his maid on the bed his first night.
That would be infinitely better than a muzzie, especially a paki muzzie.

Famines were frequent, even before brits.
The deccan famine or Gujarat famine etc in mughal era no doubt angrez were spawns of devils iam not whitewashing them and also these famines were massive.
Only after 1960s we have stopped famines due to green revolution and increases food security with prograams like national nutrition program of 1997 probably
And the midday meal and the pds scheme so that large section of our population is covered
Can you enlist the number and tolls of famines in 5 centuries earlier than British empire vs those during British empire?
Famines existed but as far as I know, they weren't "frequent" in India until British arrival.

Nostalgia for the GDR grows as modern Europeans realize the hellscape they have created.
Beyond the Wall by Katja Hoyer review – overturning cliches of East Germany
An estimated 5,000 volunteers even helped defend the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961, believing no doubt that their homeland, with all its opportunities, needed protecting and prepared to spend their free time doing so.

When Germany was divided into British, French, American and Russian sectors after the fall of the Third Reich, few expected the last one would become an independent nation, still less a walled-in Stasiland. “What is this GDR?” asked Stalin’s security henchman Lavrentiy Beria in 1952. “It’s not even a proper state. It only exists because of Soviet troops.”

True, Hoyer argues: Moscow saw East Germany as geopolitical pawn to be sacrificed if necessary in order to win the burgeoning cold war. Indeed, Stalin sought a reunified and neutral Germany as buffer between the socialist east and capitalist west. A year later, though, Stalin was dead, and Beria was executed with a bullet to the head, while East Germany would survive for another 37 years.

On October 7 1989, a four-year-old Hoyer and her father celebrated the GDR’s 40th anniversary with a trip to the viewing platform of Berlin’s Fernsehturm, the socialist-built TV tower. Below, police cars converged on Alexanderplatz in an attempt to quell the unstoppable protests that led to the collapse of the Berlin Wall a month later.

Like most East Germans, her dad had no inclination to join the demonstrators: the Hoyers were comfortable with their secondhand Trabant and two-bed flat in a 1960s prefab block. Today their daughter lives in the UK, but not without a memory of what died that day. What makes her meticulous book essential reading is not so much its sense of what East Germans lost, as what we never had.

If I had to choose, i would rather live with a snake than an Islamist cuz the snake would likely be more loyal. But that's just me.

Indonesian naming system is weird. You can't make out from their names as to who is what.

Michael Salim
Andrew Suryawardana
Aryadharma Sukardi
Jon Silasi

All these names could be either Muslim, Hindu, Christian, or Buddhist.

I went to Indonesia a few years ago for the first time and got the shock of my life when my counterpart then named Aditya Dharmaputra excused himself for doing namaz on a Friday afternoon at a Bandung television event.
