video pls
these boys are going supersonic today at High altitude hence was unable to spot them. It's the booms that tell where they are and how high they are. Low-Alti subsonic booms are piercing cries which which by the time you hear, the aircraft is almost over your head.
today these guys are High-Alti and Supersonic , the booms are not piercing but rather radiating through out the area, also there are multiple AC one after another.

But then you might ask how did i know that these are M2Ks if did not spot them, so i had to make one for ya.
Had to wait for one of the boys to come at low altitude, luckily he was slower as well.
i might as well as know why these guys are here in these numbers.

UAE wont be replacing their Mirages anytime soon as the replacement F-35 will take long time to reach UAE - likely not before 2027 the deliveries to start. So, UAE mirages will be too old by the time India can purchase them and also, by that time hopefully LCA Mk.2 will start joining the force and AMCA will be just on the horizon.

The upgrade of Mirage fleet already cost an arm and a leg - almost as much as getting new fleet. $2.2 billion for upgrading in a deal dating back in 2011! The Egypt is buying 30 spanking new rafale F4 s in $3.5 billion! There wouldn't be point adding the same cost to more outdated fighters.

Mirage indeed is a formidable fighter, yet its value addition vis-a-vis its potential service life will be less than optimum. Also, Mirages are not comparable to either Mig-21 or Jaguars.

Mig-21s primarily are used for Air patrol only and IAF can't wait to get rid off them as soon as enough no. of LCAs are received.

Jaguars on the other hand perform very different role of CAS and after Mig-27s were retired, it is currently sole aircraft that can do the job of low level nap-of-the-earth flying with enough payload to perform CAS. Rafale too can do that, but who is his right mind would use Rafale for CAS role?

Unless the cost of acquiring and upgrading justifies the relevancy of fighter, it doesn't matter what kind of fighter that is. Procurement of old Mirages and upgrading them would be too costly to justify the expenses.
UAE Mirages won't need major upgrade as UAE has awarded the contract to upgrade them.

Otherwise France has also sold us their old Mirage our of which 13 are in flying condition but we are possibly using only two airframes for now to upgrade.

If UAE decided to sell it off through Dassault we can take them and use it till 2035+ easily.

The only issue I see is UAE not selling it or selling it to Arab countries.

J 10 CP surpasses most Iaf Mirage capabilities which is hard for mirage to fight with J 10

We have absolutely no serious data about the chinese J10 radar and about the chinese air to air missile.
As the chinese weapons and radar are of russian origins, as we can see in Ukraine, I think it's not the time to be afraid.

Sir Chinese radars and missiles are not using same tech of Russian they just studied on them and built a new radars and missiles so same thing goes to your weapons as they are also direct purchases from Russia and ty hey are even worst so in war you loose some there is no war where is no casualty of one fighting forces both suffer

Is there a single example of Chinese military technology being better than it's Russian counterpart? Their radars, missiles, submarines and tanks are worse in every respect compared to Russian equivalents. They still depend on Russia for complex equipment like Engines, both for J10 and JF 17. They also bought S400 since they can't make an air defence system that can match it. Su 35 purchase was to study its new engine and radar to try and (unsuccessfully) replicate it for the j20.

They're not even able to match Kilo class submarines in terms of silence and sonar, forget about matching newer Russian submarines like Yasen.

Drones, surface ships, aircraft carriers using electromagnetic catapults will be launched tomorrow

You should update your information base.

J20,J10, have all been converted to Chinese engines

By the way, the new carrier-borne aircraft J35 is in test flight,

What is the service life and maintainability of these engines compared to Russian engines? For drones and surface ships, again, the ships may be bigger and have more missile cells, but the quality of the radars, air defences, and propulsion is no better than Russian technology. The carrier is due to a higher budget than Russia. If Russia had the cash it would built one of its own too. They had a plan for a nuclear powered carrier but couldn't afford it. None of these demonstrate any technological or scientific advantage over Russia.

China has higher industrial capacity and budget than Russia so it can churn out equipment in bulk and faster.

There are no official figures

just unverified information on the Chinese Internet in 2020

The WS-15 has a retrofit life of 4,000 hours

I agree.

Is that why the US has been ahead for a long time and China will overtake Russia

As you said, "China will overtake Russia". Future tense, not present tense, in terms of quality of military technology.

"China will overtake Russia" means to completely overtake Russia, which is of course a long-term goal. It takes a long time. But it's predictable。

For now, in drones, fifth generation fighters, AI -- important areas of the future

China is already ahead of Russia.

Engines, air to air missiles, SAMs, radar, submarine technology, etc not yet. Fifth generation fighters we have no idea what the level of stealth is like on those fighters, making something look like an F 35 doesn't make it one, so can't conclude. AI too we don't know what China has or doesn't have apart from pamphlets and speculative papers. Drones, yes, China is ahead.

Anyway we might see soon enough since there are increasing rumblings about actual war against Taiwan.

Well I dont know much about Drones and AI Technology but I would think that the Chinese Definitely have an edge over the Russians in these fields.

Now coming to 5th generation jets, I don't think so that the Chinese have an edge over the Russians, this needs further research, if you can prove me that the J-20 is Superior to the SU-57, you are most welcome.
