China is looking to master the precooled hypersonic hybrid rocker engine technology. If they become successful in this thing before us (which they will be ofc looking into the views of government agencies) they will make a hypersonic bomber capable of cruising at mach 6 to 8. Now that will seriously change the balance of power in asia pacific

In my opinion, hybrid vehicles will be the future as the provide highly foel efficient flights at highly cost effective rate. Ramjet and scremjets are very and high efficiency engines.

Hypersonic designs are ok but to extract most out of it, scremjt engine is required. We already have hypersonic missile like shaurya but HSTDV will be a game changer ss it will be a compact design and will fly in a relativelt depressed trajectory.
