Everyday everyone of us are running a rat race, sometimes we win sometimes we loose. Most of the times it always looks as if we as a country are try to catch up with rest of the world(on positive aspects).

Agreed the we blame most of the ills of the society on 50-60 years of extreme socialism. Other than modi nobody ever set practical targets for 75th year of independence.

I think it is time to have a public discussion on what do we want our motherland to be in 2047. As a citizen, what should we expect from society and govt?

If our citizens do not know what they want, some outsider will set the agenda for us. No point is complaining at a later stage.

Note: we at DFI are a small subset of nationalists. Let’s see if we can arrive at a consensus. If consensus building cannot be done here, it cannot be done at a national level.

Also let’s try to make this less about politics and more about people. Politicians anyway always align themselves to what people want.

In 2047:

- Communism completely eradicated in all forms from the country, party banned
- Congress Mukt Bharat
- Education reform, where no Marxist history survives and every child is taught "NEVER AGAIN" about letting barbarians rule over us for 800 years
- Common civil code
- Massive ghar wapsi of all monotheists - this will happen when India has all of the above
- Hindu temples independent, without state control
- Bollywood bankrupt
- Pakistan in 4 pieces (no question of 370 anymore)
- China in 5 pieces
- India's GDP same as that of the US in a bipolar world
- Population stable at 1.2 billion

-A military superpower with legs long enough to post soldiers anywhere on planet.
-PoK back to us and Make Pakistan an irrelevant state.
-Absolute dominance in IOR and Indian sub continent(i dont like the way Sri lanka or Nepal drooling around with chinese).
-No more sickularist bullshit.
-NO MORE RESERVATION,and a meritocratic society.
- A Technological superpower
-A robust dynamic economy with all the characteristics of a advanced economy.
-<5% poverty.
-A robust investment friendly middle class.
-More cleaner environments and clean water bombardiers and more afforestation.
-Higher degree of industrialization and urbanization.

  1. A homogenous society of dharmic religions only ie hinduism, sikhism, jain and buddhism,
  2. the most powerful military power on the earth, the largest economy in the world
  3. have taken back the lost lands starting with PoK and Tibet.
  4. mining asteroids for precious metals,
  5. use of fossil fuel reduced by 90% in the country and solar, wind and geothermal power harnessed to their full potential,
  6. forest cover of more than 45% of the total land,
  7. population reduced to half of what it is currently and finally communism and jehad totally wiped out from the country.

While it is nice of you guys to dream of a pure Hindu nation, this won't happen. There are millions of hard working, patriot Muslims, Christians and various other religions in the country. So that won't happen. Learn to live and let live.

1 unique Biometric ID card for every person in the country, fuck all this nonsense of cards from Aadhars, to PANs, Ration card, Too much shit.

Better garbage management, i.e clean streets, bins everywhere, waste collected/segregated correctly to be landfilled or recycled

wide roads, faster trains in general (average speeds of over 150km), Hyperloop route connections for major destinations

Massive investment in nuke, solar, wind energy

good Affordable education

Good affordable healthcare

Clean/er, rviers, lakes

Atleast 5-7% of GDP allocated to defense

Low taxes through out from food to imported cars, I think GST or VAT shouldn't be more than 7% on any item.

Personal income tax max from 10-12%

Corporate tax flat at 10%

Clean air ( get rid of diesels by 2040 and have only 0 or near zero emission vehicles that work on Battery, Hydrogen, Compressed Air or CNG). Whether one thinks climate change is caused by human activity, clear is still better than polluted air and would drastically increase the cost related to respiratory deceases. This also needs massive investment in energy infrastructure from charging stations all over the place proving elec. at cheap rates

Make sure we are dominant in IOR and in Asia, don't really care for super power status. As long as we are fully capable of taking on China and Pak at once we are fine. We should focus on being the strongest regional player with global reach.

It's not about their patriotism or hard work, and it's not about having a "Pure Hindu" nation.

It's about civilizational continuity and relentless attacks on Dharmic religions from the monotheistic religions.

If Islam and Christianity were "live and let live" traditions and gave up on their evangelistic, imperialistic "convert or die" ethos, nobody would care. But unless there are massive reforms in both religions, this is not likely to happen.

It's not about individual Muslims or Xtians, it's about their ideological streams which will not rest until the whole of India is converted.

I expect by then that India will be the #2 economy in the world. China will have its financial crisis and become stagnant while India cruises steadily past her.

2047 (some of it is wishful thinking):

1. I don't think the current Constitution or the Republic of India will survive. There will be a newer constitution/Republic, that will be structured differently.

2. There could be a martial-law transition period spanning at least a decade, leading up to that new Republic. This is when reservations will go, and uniform civil code will be brought about. I guess the martial law will prove necessary to quell opposition to the changes (those used to free shit won't suddenly give up access to it).

3. Gandhis will be wiped out like the Nepalese royal family. Maybe in one swift incident, maybe by power-hungry congis themselves.

4. Congress may survive, but as a left-of-center liberal party that's not marxist. They'll be equity-chasers like Canada's Liberal party, but not downright marxists like UK Labour. At least it won't be a proprietorship of the Gandhis any more.

5. Muslims will be 35% of the population, but cultural reforms during the transition period will make them more like Muslims of South East Asia, than Muslims of South Asia (ghettoized, rejecting majority culture). I strongly expect India to gobble up Bhutan and Bangladesh, through non-hostile means (like we did with Sikkim).

6. The west will have two distinct groups, the Anglo-west, and the Euro-west (led by the EU), India will be closer to the Euro-west. Russia will be toast. Putin has centralized power so much, that if something happens to him, it will be 1990 all over again.

7. China will flourish, it will be a dominant world power. Maybe there will be some political reforms.

8. India will never be an innovative nation unless there are sweeping reforms in our education system. No more jugaad, no more mugging, no more coaching classes. I guess by 2030 most exams will be computer-based, and will have randomized, adaptive questions (like GMAT), which makes cheating impossible.

9. What unites Tamil Hindus with Punjabi Hindus despite vast cultural differences, is mutual fear of Muslims. Benign Muslims, would mean there must be something new to unite the nation (especially in the absence of reservations), maybe a fast-growing economy and a strong military will do that.

10. Desalination will become the only source of fresh water left, and so large desalination plants tied to nuclear power plants, will line the coasts, which pipe water to the hinterlands. I don't think the concept of villages as we know it will survive. You can only branch out water pipelines to cities and big enough towns. There could be agricultural innovations, and India's agriculture could become extensive (like the US), as opposed to intensive (current). A smaller percentage of the population will be employed in agriculture.

11. Pakistan won't survive. I don't think it will reunite will India, but in its current form it's toast.

We'll do fine as a nation, but there will be some metamorphosis. I don't think the current system of "reservations forever" and "personal law forever" is sustainable.

Well the main solution for this is to have better education, improve general awareness of people and let them choose for themselves which religion they practice. Every religion finally is a man made institute and they are full of flaws, skeletons in the past, some more than others. Sure, Christians and Muslims have been doing it for hundreds of years but this age is a bit different. As long as forced conversions are banned, properly enforced. For the rest not much can be done when missionaries or dharmic societies or Islamic groups, preach & campaign for their interests. As long as they are peaceful, follow the law, don't incite violence we are fine. We just need to keep an eye on them.

Let's keep peace between the religions within the country, these are worthless things to divide the country over or squabble about. Finally, India is an idea and many sons and daughters have, do and will continue to serve her, many of them in the shadows. Be it the late great Abdul Kalam or Sam Sahab, our very own Tessy Thomas or Yogendra Singh Yadav or Bana Singh or folks like Hangpan Dada.

Let's work toward a nation that instill's capability, patriotism, self confidence, respect for one another, an ability to share ideas & finally freedom (to speak, protect one self & one's family, to pursue one's goals, to love, to work, to raise children, to have fun, to travel the country, to discover India in myriad diversities) It's the differences that make this country unlike any other in the world and that is to be cherished.

Care to elaborate please.

__________________________________________

Any number above 20% will bring another partition.
With good enough legal and social reforms, they could prove to be benign and progressive, if they're convinced that the last time they sought out their own country, they ended up in pieces like Pakistan (which will have comprehensively failed and disintegrated by then).

The fact that Indian Muslims are far better behaved in Gulf countries than Pakis, shows that Indian Muslims aren't Pakis.

They're not going to stop growing as a population. UCC isn't going to magically put brakes on Muslim population growth. I have no hopes of a "Ghar Wapsi," and the transitioning Martial rulers won't do anything stupid like genocide, inviting foreign military intervention.

Our best bet is making Indian Muslims more Indian (through education and tolerance and not free shit), while letting them enjoy their religion in spirit of coexistence with Hindus.

Not going to happen without foreign military intervention and isolation. Even China didn't pull off something like that against communities it doesn't like (Tibetans, Uighurs).

1)We need to establish a complete meritocracy by 2047, which means no more reservations on a caste basis, and increasingly on a gender basis. The next phase of identity politics that is coming up in all the democracies of the word is gender politics. We must put a brake on it immediately. To put a stop to caste politics we need to end caste itself, by uniting the Hindu community through intermarriage and even abandoning last names. This also requires us to look at ourselves as INDIVIDUALS rather than holding our petty community identities above everything else. The individual should be more important than the group.

2) CLEANLINESS!! Our cities are developing at a rapid pace but are getting filthier and more polluted at a rapid pace too. This is not only a question of governance and rules but is a massive cultural problem as well. I have been to countries as poor and with equally crowded cities as ours, but which have FAR cleaner streets that any Indian city.

3) Complete education transformation. The time of McCauley's system is over. The new global economy demands creative and adaptable individuals with good communication skills and extremely good practical knowledge which they can apply. We should also have much more entrepreneurship. You dont need students who can memorize entire books. You need students who can use the given knowledge to create something brand new, and preferably make money off it. We need to become the worlds leading scientific power that can invent or adapt any kind of technology for our own requirements.

4) Environment. Our environment, especially rivers, forests, wildlife are degrading unsustainably. We need to put an end to polluting practices in industry and need to move over to new production and waste management methods. I want to see massive national parks with tens of thousands of tigers, leopards, rhinos in the country. We need to have breathable air in our national capital for a start. Put a complete stop to import of any oil. Also we need to start recycling all water.

4) completely independent military industrial complex, without any of the wasteful overpricing that the American and European MIC's get away with. If we are still importing fighter jets or asking for transfer of technology (oh god) in 2047, then I would consider this country a failed state.

Urbanized, Industrialized, Mechanicalized, Contained, Aesthetically Beautiful, Well Planned, Faster Connectivity, Clear Skies and Civilized in Dharmic traditions.
Aesthetics is something India is seriously lacking in, and almost no one here takes seriously. (Except our ancient ancestors). The way your cities, villages, and houses look is one of the primary factors in how your civilization is judged. After visiting St. Petersburg and Prague, it deeply saddened me that India is unlikely to have such cities for a LONG time, and is currently not even attempting to do so.
