What is more likely to survive in a contested airspace an armed drone or a turboprop aircraft ?
Armed drone like TAPAS or MQ-9 will have more chance of survival.
What makes you think that a turboprop aircraft has a higher chance of survival?
Turboprop are only useful in scenario like Afghanistan where the enemy has no meaningful defense against aircraft.
In case of Indo-Pak or Indo-China confrontation, drones are better options.

Drone is best option if used as cheap bomb truck in a massive quantity. every missile fired at drone is a less missile they can fired at your aircraft. So if you can manufacturer complete drone system with price closer to enemy surface to air missiles you are good to go. For a start if enemy know you are coming.
1. Use a cheap mass produced high altitude drone for Scout and light bombing runs and used them in first wave attack.
2. Use expensive and more capable stealth drone behind first wave.
3.manned air craft in last wave.
The more enemy engage the first and second wave better the results for us.
If enemy not aware of your attack use stealth drones in first wave to soften up the enemy defenses.
Missiles are expensive and in limited quantity.

Wow ! So you think a MQ-9 can survive in an airspace with F-16 or J-10 ?

Nor can a turboprop aircraft survive F-16 or J-10.
Between turboprop aircraft and a drone, if someone is going to be shutdown I would rather have a downed drone. Even if the drone is downed we still have the pilot okay for next drone.

Super pic!

Now it remains to be seen whether these will ever make it to the IAF or not. Chances of Pilatus buying off a few IAF officers is quite high given that they have tasted fresh Indian blood after the PC-7 deals.

HAL should also contest for trainer competitions worldwide while giving HTT-40 demos and reaching out to the countries' governments. And not the usual Mauritius and Nepal please. Someone different. Like Kenya, or Botswana or even South Africa.

Court martial corrupt IAF officers. Prosecute corrupt politicians. Prosecute corrupt beaurocrats. Blacklist and prosecute corrupt suppliers. Just a dream - not going to happen, is it?

“Milk Tea Alliance”releases investigation report on COVID-19 transmission
On December 3 local time, the Milk Tea Alliance, which formed by a group of Asian community netizens from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Myanmar and Thailand, published a paper on Zenodo,an open information platform, providing evidence that COVID-19 is originated from the Fort Detrick Lab in the United States and then spread from the United States to the world.

The core content of the paper is roughly divided into four points. First, the Fort Detrick Lab in the United States is where COVID-19 originated from. Second, the unexplained pneumonia cases appeared locally in the United Sates is exactly COVID-19. Third, it explains how the United States spread COVID-19 to the world. Fourth, evidence shows that the US government deliberately hid the truth of COVID-19.
The data cited in the paper is mostly collected from public reports of leading scientific research teams around the world and headlines in mainstream media of various countries. Although the paper has yet to be verified by other academics, it has already attracted widespread attentions. By far, there is no immediate response from the United States.

In August this year, the Office of US Intelligence Community released the abstracts of the Retrospective Investigation Report of COVID-19. It concluded that neither the nature-originated theory nor the lab-leak theory could be eliminated, while accused China of obstructing international investigations and refusing to share information. China firmly opposes and strongly condemns these accusations.

Wrong thread, Wumao! Atleast translate the name of the threads before spamming them.

IAF can't really operate both PC-7 and HTT-40 at the same time. Maintainence cost will be huge. Either you find a buyer for your PC-7s or ditch the HTT-40 and buy more PC-7s.

I think it would make sense to re-sell the PC-7s to, say, Bangladesh who has recently gotten a line of credit to import defense equipment from us. They are still relatively new and with a little refurbishment can serve them well.

We should seriously go for the HTT-40. Why? Not just because it's local and advanced enough, but also because if the origin country buys it, HAL can actually export this.

Turkey recently sold the Hurkush trainer to Niger. It could have been us and it can be us for several other countries that are looking for non-western alternatives. Let's not let China and Turkey grab all that market.

It does happen but in our case, foreign corporations even buy off judges. So even if the police/CBI do their job well, there's a risk of these people getting off easily until it reaches the Supreme Court.

Not to mention the multi-million case backlog that our courts have, cases drag on for years. By that time, the politician dies a natural death.

The military courts are much faster due to their separation from regular courts, but because of the element of secrecy they have compared to the civil society, senior commanders can turn things in their favour

The design and specifications is more along the line of Western aircraft with the added advantage of lower cost. The armament package is optional as indicated.
