NATO I think has run its course, I am not a fan of the New World Order.

NATO probably has lost its relevance. And I feel that NATO isn't all that politically united, especially the major powers.

Of late the world is becoming more and more polar...something akin to the cold war and so there is definitely a need for NATO. I guess the effectiveness of NATO depends on the continued dominance of the US Military because in essence they form the backbone of NATO. Heck, it is even written in the NATO "constitution" that it will be led by an American commander.
