Has Manmohan invested too much in relationship with US?

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has made his foreign policy approach very clear. But there have been concerns in India after the delay in direct access to David Headley and the differences over America's Af-Pak policy.

Are we forgetting that Obama's been in power only 1year ? MMS has been a PM for ~6 years and also seen the presidency of Bush who was as pro-India as they come. MMS sought to carry on the bonhomie, which has unfortunately hit a rough patch or so it seems. We have plenty of options though and are no pushovers.
