Bdw still I believe hal should add a rocket pod with more rocket s
....
As lch will not only fight in mountain s....
Sometimes it will fight on lands....where it needs more firepower....
And we don't have other options...
As our Apache and mi24/35 are limited

It should have 19 rocket pod, which Apache has.

Will LCH have quad missile launchers in future? So as Rudra? I heard that issue with Rudra is that the quad launcher will touch the ground due to inadequate ceiling.. is that so?

Being developed for LCH. Rudra no requirement for it
Any specific reason why Rudra doesn't need it? Actually, as per the latest war games, it is Rudra that goes ahead of the tank group to cleanse the enemy area before the tanks can strike. In such a scenario, wouldn't it be more useful if it has 4 more missiles additionally to destroy the enemy tanks? Also does Rudra have same protection level like LCH?

LCH has not been flown with quad launchers. There has been some discussion but no firm push as the user has not provided that requirement. The problem is not structural strength. AFAIK each hardpoint is rated at 250 kgs.

I also want to say that HAL has quoted a price of 35 million for each LCH. We paid 100 million per Apache (+spares+support). So, literally, we can buy two LCH for each Apache.

LCH is not yet out of prototype stage so of course you won't see them in war games yet while Rudra is already in service.

In Future the role of Rudra will be as an Armed Scout, Armed Escort for Heli Assault forces and Armed CSAR / TARP.

LCH will be pure CAS / Anti Tank so needs the quad launcher Helina.

LCH and LUH should be named Chetak and Cheetah of Indian Army.

The older chetak and Cheetah are done and dusted . Just like Navy kept the name of their aircraft carrier. Chetak and cheetah should become the title for army's heli requirements.

And in Future Apache class heavy fighter : karthik ( God of War , First born of Shiva ) we need to prepare for that now and may be in next 15 years we will see one flying in tricolor .

IMRH : Ajeet

AMCA : Surya

Keep it simple also we need to start honoring our brave defence personnel's like Sam Maneckshaw by naming weapons after their name.

Note : Akbar gave up Islam at the end of his days after his realisation that its a false religion made up by a desert war lord so he made a new one for himself. After all he was king of a huge Mughal empire That was the message leadership wanted to give I guess.
