As per Saurav Jha 2 more years.
Just saw the IAH, 2 more years for the large series production order ( he thinks it will be 170+ upfront).

in the meantime 12 LSP will be delivered within the next 18 months.

I’m skeptical of the 2 year and 170+ order projections, we’ve seen how much MoD drags these things out plus when was the last time they gave such a large order upfront to HAL? ALH took 20+ years and multiple 20/30/40 unit batches to get to where the fleet is today.

Is IAF going to still buy the Kamov 224t or that deal is gone?

Is the LUH ready for prime time or a work-in-progress? The intent of the question is to find out if HAL is giving IAF/IA an excuse to say that they need the copters now & LUH is not there yet.
IMHO it is ready for prime time and it fits within the logistic chain, something that the Kamov cannot do. Problem is the import lobby obstructing the way.

Great. Rajnath probably will put LUH soon on the negative import list. This is his way of forcing the hands of the IAF.
