Because that steel is not required by industry in India and there is no guarantee that if private sector makes that the Government or shipyards will buy that. Private industry is profit driven.why did we need DMRL to build/ research and develop naval grade steel ?
For the same reason as abovewhy didnt the TATAs, Jindals, etc etc etc stepup?
Because after disgruntlement and supersession or retirement, they are cheaper. They bring some experience with them.why is it that Pvt sector always employs PSU people in their setup ?
why is it ex SAIL employees that made Arcelor Mittal the largest steel co in the world ?
why is it exSAIL employees who turn around loss making / junk steel plants around the globe for Arcelor mittal ?
It is money capital and organisation of Mittal which is responsible for it and not some PSU nut employed by Mittal. PSU nuts and ex government servants are employed by big wigs to push up their sales, raw material, land etc by utilising their connection and for bribing the government officials. The disgruntled, superseded and retired PSU employees come very cheap considering the expertise and experience they bring in. They are cheap material used by the private sector.
Fine, the PSU nuts are so good and competent why most of them go into red and sinking government money. They have no commitments and responsibility to themselves and their employer. They are free loaders and live off the public resources. In fact these all must be closed and shut down.i acn go on ...............
By your logic all those must be handed over to Mittal so that he puts in sticks into all of them towards output. Is not that your logic.
