The tail number is IA-2110 or 210...
Its a production model..
Its a production model..
In that case, why is it that Dhruv-WSI hasn't received IOC yet??ALH Mk-IV successfully completed all weapons test successfully year ago and entered into production recently .
They are doubtful about the production machine's flight not the developmental test flights.Bur they are sure about Ground tests of the same.
'
So, IOC is being given after the machine has entered production???? Isn't it odd?? I mean, isn't the whole point of IOC is to certify that the equipment is now ready to be in service with Indian Armed forces?IOC is expected by end of this year (Dec 2012)
IOC is achieved when the first production model is inducted. So, IOC is being given after the machine has entered production???? Isn't it odd?? I mean, isn't the whole point of IOC is to certify that the equipment is now ready to be in service with Indian Armed forces?
Then how come Tejas got its first IOC in 2011, and the second IOC will also be given before induction of SP1?IOC is achieved when the first production model is inducted.
So, it is obvious production starts before IOC is given.
LCA's schedule is all messed up. Can't compare the two. Then how come Tejas got its first IOC in 2011, and the second IOC will also be given before induction of SP1?
