the main problem of F22 is:-
1)can't engage in DOG fights..
2)vunerable to RAIN
3)ist skin is hitech but can even with stand rifiles bullets..
4)will have criticall failure for every 1.7 hours of flying..
5)cant communicate with its friendly USAF fighter because it STEALTHY....
and very costly plane...but not cost-effective...

That report dosen't reflect the true picture of F22

1) Wrong to say f22 can't engage in dog fights
2) Any stealth design with tiny radar cross section will be vulnerable , applies to FGFA as well . In rain even few drops of dirt, mud, water, oil will create surface irregularities that can spike radar returns by factor of 4to5. You need to keep surface as clean as possible
3)Currently F22 sq is in Alaska , if they were so vulnerable to rain USAF/Pentagon won't have stationed them in Alaska .
4)Skin is built for minimal emissivity , rifle bullets damaging is exaggeration . F22 will not allow rifle to come near :funny_2:
5) That's wrong critical failure dosen't happen in 1.7 hours , just that after every flight requires several hours of work to keep minimum gap between panels + keep surface clean of irregularities .
6) Wrong to say F22 can't communicate , all f22 can use TIDS-J terminal to communicate with USAF aircrafts and MIDS terminal to communicate with NATO forces . With gateways/terminals/switches F22 can communicate with all Link-16 users ( Navy/Army/Ships/helos of coast-guard/Air-national guard etc)
7) With MADS F22 will also get less emissivity/secure directional data-links , link16 gives away positions easily .

he airframe is coated with emission absorbing material ....during flying the airframe beame hot and due to air frection this coating gets damaged...to make a ture stealth aircraft , inplace of coating we would be needing a emission absorbing matrial to
You are partially correct , but airframe is not coated as you speak .

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/aircraft/f-22-stealth.htm

Imp extract from above link

"Radar absorbant materials, or RAM is applied sparingly on the F-22 airframe as opposed to the entire airframe on the F-117. This is because designers have incorporated curves on crucial surfaces and edges, which lessens the need for RAM"
Radar absorbent material (RAM) is needed mostly on intake lips and wing leading edges .
