West is the Vatican of DemocracyPeople like this idiot Tanvi Madan will never clarify misinformation with the truth, These folks are neither loyal to U.S nor to India, their loyalty is to their political ideology.

Data driven analysis exists. Math models and stuff are used in many policy making circles. It's just that we don't have access to them and stuck with art background professionals.India should try and develop a new alternative to the existing academic branch of International Relations(IR), using Vedic way of thinking.
current global expertise on IR has become arbitrary and ideological which is giving low success rate of prediction of upcoming IR events.
Vedic maths has given us zero ,decimals, astronomy etc etc much before any other civilisations could grasp these concepts, maybe a new way of looking at IR can be found.
emphasis should be on keeping ideological bias away from IR analysis, mathematics should be able to help in this.
Numbers don’t have feelings.
yes, and I saying mathematical models should be explored for IR as well.Data driven analysis exists. Math models and stuff are used in many policy making circles. It's just that we don't have access to them and stuck with art background professionals.
For example IMF and WB use data driven models to predict GDP growth ..etc. Any organisation worth their salt mostly rely on data driven methods.
Which trends you want to predict using math models? IR seems to be very broad topic. Is it about future relations between two countries?yes, and I saying mathematical models should be explored for IR as well.
preferably with Vedic maths.

Do follow Arvind Virmani (former CEA) on Twitter. You will love the way he calls out the ignorance of these so called experts. The blatant hypocrisy of people who call themselves “South Asia Experts”, in this case Christine fair.
In the opening comment she has a problem with narrative which defines balakot strike a success and F16 being shot down, apparently we are not supposed to give any weightage with what DG ISPR himself said.
but also according to her we are not supposed to take wikileaks & snowmen seriously because they are blatant anti-Americanism and a Russian op.
so no matter what happens benefit of doubt for her country, and India does not deserve to have the same benefit of doubt by its own citizens.
if this is not personal/ideological bias, then what is?
if we apply Christine fair’s logic to Chinese virus, world should never call COVID as bio weapon unless absolutely proven, since that evidence will never come while the impact of Chinese virus has been same as that of a bio weapon.
and then the authors, why do they even go to “foreign experts” for comments, finish the book discussions within India first.
it is well established now that “foreign expert” are not gonna give any due credit to any India related book, unless it is atrocity literature or poverty porn.
We need to consider an aspect of their existence. they are not stupid, they know exactly what they are doing. they were hired by their employers the think tanks to do exactly what they are doing now, almost all think tanks in washington dc dealing in foreign policy are funded by US Government. So in essence, US Government is paying them to utter this nonsense. It's their job to be His master's voice and research for leverages that US Gov can use in either for their negotiations with GoI or excuses to not do things GoI is asking for.Do follow Arvind Virmani (former CEA) on Twitter. Mostly due to tariff and charges of currency manipulation. Besides, the issue of taxing Murican companies in India. Also the fact that GOI is spanking a lot of Murican companies really hard in the ass - Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, GM you name it. These are the repercussions. They are not Indiaphobic or anything. If the bucks are cleared they will be more than happy to relocate significant portion of various supply chains from Coronaland. So what does it mean to us, anything US Government wants to smear us with, will come thru these coconuts. so if keep an eye on these folks, we get an indication of what ever new drama Indiaphobic lobby groups in washington DC are cooking up.
If Modi govt policy was an issue, why would they start their propaganda from 2nd month of modi swearing in before any policy announcements were even made? opeds started coming in as soon as BJP won in 2014, folks like Vipin Narang, milind vaishnav, dhume started their propaganda almost immediately after election results were declared.Mostly due to tariff and charges of currency manipulation. We should never become too much protectionist. The present tariff policy is okayish. With increased industrial bases a few years from now on we should start reducing it. And yes, tax the f*ck out of those companies. EU, Aus, UK will follow suit: we won't be isolated. And yes, social media will be regulated. Those Murican companies might cry a river but cannot reject the appeal of the only non-saturated major economy with years of high growth left. Even here we will find companions; many nations (Aus, EU etc) are drafting laws to regulate the tech giants.
The fact that Amnesty and a bunch of others were not granted relaxations from FCRA norms did not go down too well with them. However if left unchecked the impacts will be even more devastating. Remember Kudanukulam and Jaitapur?
Do you know that Murica once delayed one IMF bailout of BD on grounds of rising intolerance and authoritarianism?
Do follow the twitter handle I mentioned. He was at the IMF. Posts a lot of curious stories regularly.
