had mentioned this before, in these sorts of academic discussions the number of times the response comes as "It's already been done, you can check it out at XYZ" is only increasing year by year. usually some countries do some of these for their people, but in our case in GoI these days it's usually the case that they have leveraged almost every technology for public services.

10-15 years go, these sort of discussions used to be about problem statements of india not solutions, now it's about solutions already available for many scenarios, as in public policy experts outside the country are behind the curve.

Kayani has stayed in the past in UK (2005-7) & Russia(2007-13) per his LinkedIn. That is not all. He is a key player in anti-India propaganda. His alter ego on social media– Cyrus Kayani– has been associated with another Pak establishment enterprise – Global Village Space.

It is interesting to note that he tries to keep his Twitter identity (meant for domestic propaganda) and his other identity (meant for external propaganda) separate – using his different avatars.

What is surprising, however, is that despite repeated expose of similar fabricated data – from DoTo – to FIACONA– to NAMTA– the media continues to fall for these fabrications, without carrying out even the most basic scrutiny. The HW page itself confirms its affiliations.

US Rep #PramilaJayapal (PJ) has mobilized 70+ US politicians to worry about ‘human rights’ in India during #ModiInUSA trip. Her ‘letter’ to #Biden against GOI is full of exposed tropes– from Democracy Index to Press Freedom to USCIRF Report!

Expect this snake to be active in 2024 election

the conversation is from an murican perspective.

there is a fork that U.S media and think tanks created about "death of western liberal values in India because of Hindu nationalist party in power", now that 9-10 years have passed and geopolitical calculations have changed, looks like our intelligentsia needs to close this unnecessary fork, which does not serve any useful purpose except for benefitting folks who are investing in Indo-US relationship not taking off. at least put our arguments forward for the record, without over complicating the argument by trying to teach them about our civilisational history and values, when done they go deaf and blind.

from a geopolitical stand point.

- western liberal values work only when there are settled borders and no direct sovereign threats, which India does not have the luxury of with two nuclear neighbours on it's borders.
- western liberal values work only when a country crosses a threshold on economic prosperity, which India is not.

India will take America's side against China as long as it does not involve an invasion into China. IA is not equipped for that. IA is only equipped for defense and short offensive thrusts but cannot go deep into mainland China.

America only needs India to tie down most of Chinese land forces while USAF and USN takes care of the rest.
