Obviously pakistanis who live in pakistan know more agriculture than the muricans, as such goras participating in this discussion had zero value addition.
Only odd thing is that this fellow Daniel F Runde kept steering the discussion towards "India Pak 1.5 track" on regional environmental co-operation.

Will have to wait as see if it was based on ignorance or deliberate.

The solarization of state-owned health centers will help India achieve clean energy targets while also creating a sustainable health system with access to reliable electricity.

if the guy had modi's photo in his twitter bio, would he have been hired in Washington DC based major think tank? i don't think so.

India is not even mentioned in the entire conversation about indo-pacific. The lady thinks indonesia, thailand is on front lines with PRC, but looks like she is not evcen aware that IA and PLA tanks were facing each other few hundred metres apart.

anyways her whole plan seems to revolves around playing her race card with SE Asia.

About the book — ‘The Long Game: How the Chinese Negotiate with India’ India’s relations with the People’s Republic of China have captured the popular imagination ever since the 1950s but have rarely merited a detailed understanding of the issues. Individual episodes tend to arouse lively debate, which often dissipates without a deeper exploration of the factors that shaped the outcomes.

The Long Game explores the dynamics of negotiation between the two countries, from the early years after Independence until the current times, through the prism of six historical and recent events in the India-China relationship. The purpose is to identify the strategy, tactics and tools that China employs in its diplomatic negotiations with India, and the learnings for India from its past dealings with China that may prove helpful in future negotiations with the country.

Speakers Vijay Gokhale Former Foreign Secretary, MEA, Government of India; author — ‘The Long Game: How the Chinese Negotiate with India’
Samir Saran President, Observer Research Foundation

US evacuation is not even completed at Kabul airport, already these folks are planning for future American "Humanitarian aid" NGO insertion into Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

Irfan nooruddin is suggesting some sort of intelligence sharing group between all countries surrounding Afghanistan under the co-ordination of US.

not sure how US-Iran Pak-India in the same group compute in this equation.

me thinks this is a non starter.

With USA it will be a non starter..but with nations that will have a refugee influx and later a societal issue with refugee influx will be keen to share intelligence on Afghan.
So Middle east, European nations, the STAN nations minus the pakshitstan will be a good place to have int. sharing grouping.
Anyway, for USA intelligence/data is a commercial commodity.

Who ever this under secretary of Energy of US Gov is, his enthusiasm is infectious. even our wanna be coconut interviewing him will be in a dilemma, whether he should buy into the infectious enthusiasm of a gora saheb or believe in the lutyens opeds he reads everyday about modi government. :pound:

other than that, in a earlier part of the video the E&Y guy was counting awaiting approval as a negative, which i disagree with. last time during UPA unchecked investment and approvals of mini power projects kickstarted the NPA mess. regulatory bodies have to check viability of proposals, that's their job. as long as policy is clear, wait list is not necessarily a negative.

and lastly, In this sector too GoI is ahead of the curve.

SMQ spoke more about India, Kashmir and defending taliban than his own country. he had been given enough opportunities to talk about positives of pakistan, looks like either he had no clue or he thinks it's not his job.
