Dear friends,

Am a former Indian Army officer from the Armoured Corps. Have taken premature retirement after 20 years of service, but still retain close interest in matters military. I have since co-authored a book called "Delhi Durbar 1911 - The Complete Story" published by Roli Books. I bolg on military matters at Swordarm | The Arm That Wields The Sword and also aggregate defence related news everyday at Jottings.
Look forward to interacting and contributing positively on the forum.

@Yusuf, in the Indian Army you pick up your Lt Col's rank at 13 years of service - which is around 34 years of age. My age, btw, is 43. I took pre-mature retirement 2 years back.

@John - 74 refers to my erstwhile regiment, not my year of birth. My age is 43.
