They support left-liberal movement because they rightly understand that the world of politics is about group interests and not of principles. In an ideal world we would all be individualists and would debate about ideas based on what we thought as individuals, was good for society, but in reality there are other considerations like religion and ethnicity.

So by supporting left-liberal movements, which are anti-majoritarianism, they empower their own group, once they become the majority in a certain area, all this left-liberal nonsense goes out of the window, everything in this world is about power my friend.
