In the joke thread there is a post about "finding a grenade."

The first fragmentation grenades (1915) were "Mills Bombs."

The "pineapple" was replaced by the M26 and M67 grenade.

The M67 grenade is a fragmentation hand grenade used by the United States Military and Canadian Forces, where it is referenced as the C13. The M67 is a replacement for the M61 grenade used during Vietnam and the older Mk 2 "pineapple" grenade used since World War II.

An example of offensive use is that Soviet Army paratroopers during the Cold War were trained to throw fragmentation grenades from an altitude of about 100 m if the ground below them was held by enemy forces.
Soviet grenade of F- 1 was developed yet to WW2 on a base French F - 1.

Nobody did not gather to throw down her from above. No paratroopers. Her primer of UZRGM, burns only 3-4 seconds. Her even in mountains, giving up is difficult. That is why and there was developed new grenade of RGO.

The only thing I remember about Soviet grenades was that some of them had 0 second fuse to use in booby traps.
In mean "stretchings" - when grenade ties down to wire.

Simply grenades of RGD, РG - 42, F- 1

have an identical fuse of not shock action of UZRGM. He burns 3-4 seconds.

There is an antipersonnel grenade mine of times WW2 POMZ - 2
