Another one, these pics kinda got buried under all the hysteria that caused by the unfortunate incident
but looking at this one,
this seems unfinished one as ;breech; side is still open,
but this time the attacker put a kind of optical sight on it as if he was supposed to do some precision strikes with it hhmm,
also instead of wider plumbing pipes these are some relatively narrower pipes here as if he was planning to use ;musket ball; sized projectiles of maybe 10-15 mm diameter i think...last but not least, notice the side folding ;buttstock; in first pic...

tl;dr;
an electrically fired multiple barrel musket insted of a blunderbuss

this guy trully was a something

another vdo of shinzo abe getting shot,

btw how to put it in words without trying to sound retarded...

know what was Shinzo Abe doing in Nara ?
He was supposed to deliver a speech in Nagano actually,
but he was in Nara to cover arse of the LDP candidate there who got involved in some Abortion issue so was trying to cover some loss of image for his behalf huuuuuuh 🤷‍♂️
some more info from teligram,

shooter kinda gave a reason to police there that his mother was scammed beyond bankrupcy by a ;Nippon Keigi; cultist and so, reason he had a big grudge against people associated with that,

also he originally intended to keel someone else but he somehow came to know about Abe's arrival in the area just nearby his residence and Abe's involvement with the group and all the bad memories of past...so yeah he made that decision etc...

BTW there is another angle to this,

🤷‍♂️ it's really hard to point out who's actually responsible,
japanese police and authorities trying to portray it as a 'lone wolf' thing by ;carefully; leaking releasing the kind of info that paints that shooter as a disgruntled hikkimori (shut-in loner) type of persona and so,

but then we have chings doing nanga naach before and after the incident...hhmm...

being a 'trust no one' kind of person, i too think it was rather a "sleeper cell" kind of thing than plain "lone wolf" style...

From Anand Mahindra 's tweet!!

apparently the video shows the 1st shot was from back side, then the 2nd went almost 140 degree direction from shooter straight toward Mr Abe !( check the deflection of his shirt and collar)
The security went really duckhead in reflex action, may be due to lack of drills! one of his bodyguard tried to use the ballistic shield briefcase ( whatever the name might be, I am not much aware of that name sadly :( )to apparently wrong direction, one ducked to save own life!!
Some said he suffered cardiac arrest during evacuation!!
Buckshot from 10 ft might be fatal, but the shot strangely went to his upper torso between right lungs and collar bone, even the blood strains confirms that during the first aid. Any one in forum who got medical knowledge can better light the severity of the shot.

Conspiracy ?????

also look the clip carefully, at faar away at that side of the road, near building with red "SANKO" billboard...
after first shot is fired a guard presumbly serving at that side of the road is rushing towards the place (meanwhile second shot is fired) and in hurry he ends up knocking down a girl that seemed like rushing away from the place...kinda comic...could have gone worse as there is a car approaching just nearby where the girl fall... and the guard guy ended up helping her stand up instead of doing his duty 🤷‍♂️

when i saw it happening in the clip first time yesterday all i could think was,"...this is outrageous"

The Security detail was too incompetent, I thought Japanese are serious about their SF, or is it that Japanese security guards aren't professionals at all like our Black Cat and SPG.

Well said, it seems their bodygaurds not well trained or don't know what to do in this case.
Well trained, ?
Untrained i will say , heck leave spg commandos , had I been over there i would have shoved Abe with all my power to the ground.
Thats the basic sop Yaar, hear a gunshot , bumblast shove the leader to ground .
Make the target disappear or not visible to Shooter.
These gandus waited for second shot to be fired

Japanese do their fighting overseas in some detached battlefields and that too in negligible numbers. JSDF and the whole security apparatus is way too trusting and drunk in peace. JSDF will be scattered to the four winds if they get in a serious war rather than shooting sandal wearing jihadis from their anime decal helicopters

I was once told by my japani friend on teligram that when a certain contingent of JGSDF was temporarily deployed in Afghanistan and Middle East,
they requested for american M16 rifles issued to them,
request was well...denied, but they were given some upgrades like ambidextrous fire selector, newer magazines and rails on top for optical sight attachments etc

later they tried to do some further tinkering on existing Type 89s by giving it ACR style buttstock and newer handguards with 3-6-9-12 position rails and in some ;carbine; configurations shortened barrel etc...but it mostly remained a prototype thing only

probably this was the point where voices for a proper modern service rifle became loud enough that they had to go towards replacement program that resulted in Howa Type 20 in this era

I do not think Abe was given serious protection squad. After all, he was not going to be PM anymore. So his security status was seriously downgraded.

Japan’s ‘killing stone’ splits in two, releasing superstitions amid the sulphur springs

Legend has it there is an evil spirit trapped in the Sessho-seki stone, so what happens now that the stone is broken?

Predictions of dark forces being unleashed by an evil vixen hung over social media in Japan on Monday after a famous volcanic rock said to kill anyone who comes into contact with it was found split in two.
According to the mythology surrounding the Sessho-seki, or killing stone, the object contains the transformed corpse of Tamamo-no-Mae, a beautiful woman who had been part of a secret plot hatched by a feudal warlord to kill Emperor Toba, who reigned from 1107-1123.

Legend has it that her true identity was an evil nine-tailed fox whose spirit is embedded in the hunk of lava, located in an area of Tochigi prefecture, near Tokyo, famous for its sulphurous hot springs.
Its separation into two roughly equal parts, believed to have occurred within the past few days, has spooked online users who noted that, according to folklore, the stone continually spews poisonous gas – hence its name.
While the stone was said to have been destroyed, and its spirit exorcised by a Buddhist monk who scattered its pieces across Japan, many Japanese prefer to believe that its home is on the slopes of Mount Nasu.
Visitors to the area, a popular sightseeing spot, recoiled in horror at the weekend after witnesses posted photos of the fractured stone, a length of rope that had been secured around its circumference lying on the ground.
“I feel like I’ve seen something that shouldn’t be seen,” one Twitter user said in a post that has attracted almost 170,000 likes.

While others speculated that the demon spirit of Tamamo-no-Mae had been resurrected after almost 1,000 years, local media said cracks had appeared in the rock several years ago, possibly allowing rainwater to seep inside and weaken its structure.
The stone, which was registered as a local historical site in 1957, was mentioned in Matsuo Basho’s seminal work The Narrow Road to the Deep North, and has inspired a Noh play, a novel and an anime film.
Masaharu Sugawara, the head of a local volunteer guide group, told the Yomiuri Shimbun it was a “shame” the stone had split because it was a symbol of the area, but agreed that nature had simply taken its course.
Local and national government officials will meet to discuss the stone’s fate, according to the Shimotsuke Shimbun. The newspaper quoted a Nasu tourism official as saying he would like to see the Sessho-seki restored to its original form – presumably with its demonic inhabitant sealed within.
