Momo is my very much favourite Dish, actually it is very much popular in Kolkata, I think it is giving Chowmein a run for money. In office para from street vendors it is very much cheap, I think Rs. 10 , for 6 Veg momo, and Rs. 15 for 6 Chicken momo.
Oh,maybe it's very tasty too.But if buy one cage Momo with seafood or other valuable food inside it may cost about 140 yuan(almost 20 dollar).

You know?the most delicious Momo comes from Shanghai,it was made of valuable ingredient such as abalone, crawfish.
Yes I remenber a documentary in Discovery channel about the mouth watering Momo of Shanghai, but they didn't used the term mono but some other term, that's why I didn't used the term in my last post, more over I have got a South Korean friend here in Bangalore who often visit China but he don't recognize the term momo, but even he is a fan of this dish.

In my home state Assam when I was residing in a city called Guhati for my studies I don't remember a single day without having a plate of momo in a day, it's damn cheap there with 20 bucks for a plate full of seven large momo's and I use to take 3 extra and had a full stomach. But here in Bangalore you wont find quality momo and what's available is only chicken filled momo (I love pork) with a hefty price of atleast 50 bucks atleast and also very small in size. But occasionally I use to cook it at home in my pressure cooker since I dont have the utensils required.[/QUOTE]

I hope one day ,you can come to China, and at that time,I will reach my dream.I hope you can receive my invitation to have a big meal with me,I pay the bill.
You said it and I feel honoured, again thank you for your kind appreciation.

There are host of famous restaurants, all exclusively run by Chinese communities here, and all specialises on Chinese. They all live and prospers here from early 18th Century.

Sorry,I may get away from the topic.I wonder what's his view on China?Just tell me the truth.
ooh he is very liberal in his thoughts, though China and SK may have diplomatic difference, he personally had always admired China, even he said that he feels that China is like the big brother of SK.

His surname is Ryu and he said that his ancestors were originally from china itself, he is one of my sources of China knowledge, he can speak chinese and his wife can speak japanese both of them are my very good friends and we enjoy a lot of time together. He even told me how huge chinese cities are as compared to India and how liberal china is today even though it is a communist state.

He also admires dongo jhou kin (name of one of your premier or president in thier laungage) and his comment on 'white mouse and black mouse'.

I dont discriminate between foods. I eat everything, including all the ones you posted. ;)
Also surprised that no one posted Tandoori Chicken !!

Daal bati churma was a favorite when I used to live in Jaipur, but sadly, its not readily available in Kolkata.
